Just got my XLR Evolution and LOVE IT.

The screw holes did not line up right away (very tight fit) I got them started and the stock and action pulled together very well.

The issue I have is that the barrel is not centered inside of the forearm.

I have a Savage LRP with factory barrel rechambered to 6.5x47

When I put the rails on to mount my sling mount and Atlas bipod the screws are touching the barrel. This is before putting any weight on the bipod.

From the action to the barrel the barrel is to the bottom left which makes it the worst possible for rails on a rifle set up for a right handed person.

I thing the biggest issue is that the savage LRP has a 1" barrel. I am going to call XLR tomarrow, just wanted to touch base and see if anyone else had similar issues.

I don't want to take away from XLR's awsome product, it just seems with every project there are hicups, this build has had several....

yes, brother, I had the exact same issue. I did not have the issue for long, as our friend here came to the rescue as quickly for me as he'll do for you!

Thanks again, Kyle!
