I'm looking at getting an XLR Stock for my Remington 700 AAC-SD. I currently have a Leupold Mark 4 scope base on it and it seems to be a little long. My question is: Am I going to have to cut the scope base to get the chassis to fit?

I had to have mine trimmed, Leupold 15moa Mark 4 one piece.

Just cut it off with a dremel to your desired length, then polish it up and youll be good to go. I had to cut about .300" off and then it fit perfect. It was not a Luppy base though. I think it was a badger.
