Old pre-accutrigger LA, been a safe queen for a while so I figured I'd polish the turd and get it out again.

The Timney's sear engagement screw and lock nut are hitting the opening for the trigger.

Relieve the opening or try to change/shorten the screw and red loctite in place without the nut?

This was a originally a 30-06 given to me by my ex-FIL, rebarreled in 300WM with a 26" #7 Shilen select match shouldered sans barrel nut.

No clearance issues with the screw removed, except for plenty of sear engagement.:cautious:

Accurate mags scratch the shit outta brass. Rear of the bottom receiver opening hangs up in the back. Not an XLR issue at all, just a Savage issue.

Digging the chassis. An XLR mercury recoil reducer in the back balances out the rifle with the heavier barrel.
