Gunsmithing XXXL shipping crate.

We just finished a couple 52" near 20 pound rifles and have some 58" to 60" rifles coming up. A single I would take it out of the stock but two identical rifles I think it's better to keep them together. I need to ship them and be sure they arrive perfect. For these two we built a huge plywood shipping crate and all done it's near 140 pounds. 1/2 plywood over green 2x4's. No kiln dried 2x's available anymore. Probably could have used 2x2's but just can't take a chance on shipping damage. It almost looks like a coffin. Even did nice rope handles so it's easy to handle. Now all I need is some pall bearers to pack it a couple thousand miles. Actually Fed Ex will move it reasonably. Anyone else ever ship two or more big guns in one box? What did you do?
