I just ordered a Yankee Hill suppressor for my 7.62. The guy at the gun store said it would work on my 300wm, 308win, and my AR15. My question is: Does anyone have experience with this suppressor? How well does it work and the change in POI?

I have a YHM 30 cal suppressor and it is awesome. It will change to POI a little bit but should be less than 2 moa. If it isn't to late get the one that goes on a YHM brake and is not threaded on the rifle. That is the only change I would have on mine.

Love mine. I've got the thread on model, I've no use for the QD, plus, there is info out there that the QD mount can wear out and cause the can to loosen (That's bad!). Haven't shot it other than on my .308 but it's just as quiet as others I have heard, not goint to mention names so I don't start any wars!
POI changed about 1/2 lower than unsuppressed. Also had my barrel cut to 18in.

you buy the phantom? heard good things about it. thinking of going that way myself for my .308..didn't know the stuff about the QD mount..could someone point in that direction?

got a couple YHM QD 7.62 Phantoms comming soon, got a Wraith XL for my 9mm sbr, and a 5.56 Phantom on my AR, haven't shot the 7.62 Phantom yet but if they are as good as my others, they will be excellent.
I'm sure you will like yours.

I have the phantom 7.62 QD. Nice can.
POI shift was about 1 minute down if memory serves. I leave it on the gun.

Could you point me to this info? I did a lot of research before I bought mine and never saw this about the Yankee Hill cans. I have also never experienced it loosening on any of my rifles. Depending on the rifle it goes on my can puts the impact about 1-2 moa low which is to be expected.

Interested in backup info as well. I shoot mine on 4-5 different rifles and have never had this problem.

I've got a 7.62 stainless Phantom and have not had any issues with the threads loosening. I've used it on my bolt gun, LAR-8, and AR-15's with no issues.
My accuracy seemed to improve a bit on my GAP.

I have a QD 7.62 Phantom with mounts on my 10/22, Sig 556, AR10, and Rem 700. It works great on all four rifles. The 10/22 is quiter than my air rifle with sub loads and makes my Sig ear safe. I love being able to use one suppressor on s many guns. It is over kill on my 10/22 but it will do till I get a dedicated .22 can.

My Class 3 dealer swears by the YHM QD system for everything one person owns at or below .308 caliber. He has some cool demonstration videos he shows at our local gun shows.
They seem to be a great value with even greater versatility with the QD mounts on a few different rifles...

I have the 7.62 QD and use it on several rifles of different cal. I shoot better with the can, may be mental, it greatly reduces recoil and noise. I mainly have 500yds to shoot and can keep 1/2 MOA and better with the YHM QD. I also have the 9mm XL QD. I have never had any problem with them trying to get loose.
