i had another scope on the rifle which is why it has those rings
and also for quick detachable , for comps and such i take a second optic in case the primary goes down; already zeroed and i just pop the primary off, replace it with the back up
gen 2 knob pic ture is up ; basically a little more aggressive in knurling - holes cut in the top of knob
