Yep, that's Boulder county for you...

I can easily understand how a pressure washer could be mistaken for a gun.....however it requires the person to have never seen a pressure washer .....or a gun before.

Jesus Christ, this is just as bad as the morons who call in a “man with a gun” on people carrying around umbrellas.

In 1990 the Army sent me to the University of Colorado at Boulder to get my MBA (Green Beret/MBA, I had my choice of quite a few schools, including Harvard). While going to school, I bought several condo's and fixed them up and rented them out. After retiring, I lived there off and on until I got fed up with liberal anti-gun politics and moved to Texas. In 1990 Boulder was a nice place with plenty of Liberal Lefties, but the people in power were businessmen and fairly conservative. During the first Gulf war the liberals wanted to declare Boulder a "Draft Free Zone". They didn't know that the mayor's son was in the Army. I can't remember her exact words but she was militarily eloquent in telling them what she thought about that idea. Boulder had a shooting club within the city limits. UC boulder had a rifle team at the time. I used to ride my bike with my Biathlon rifle on my back to go to the range. By 2002 Boulder had gone to hell... dirty, crime ridden, and all the conservatives had left. Sold all my condo's for several times what I paid for them and went to Texas. Haven't been back to Colorado since.
