Has anyone had any experience with this? Can you tell me what you think? POI shift?

thank you in advance

Had a huge POI shift on mine (~3 moa to the 6 o'clock). However once I had it on, there was no problem with accuracy (TRG-42). I put a witness mark on mine to ensure I ratcheted it to the same position every time.

Yasherka, is that a 338 TRG? If so, what bullet are you using in the 338?

Sorry, I didn't see you reply to me.

So yes, 1:10 TRG-42 in .338. I am using a 250 Scenar over 90 gr. of 4831sc (max load according to the Sierra manual). Don't recall OAL off the top of my head, but it's 0.020 less than mag length. Gives me 3017 fps with a SD of 11.

Scary accurate. I've been meaning to try the Hornady 285's but life has been precluding me from developing a new load right now.

turboek, what grain bullet are you using in the 338?

I have 2 loads for it, first is

300gr berger
Lapua Brass
92gr of H1000
cci 250 primer
3.755 oal
velocity average is 2720 with an ES of 2.

Other is
250gr Hornady Match
Lapua Brass
98.5gr of H1000
cci 250 primer
3.65 oal
velocity average is 3030 with an ES of 9

Thank you Turboek, I will have to try the 300gr Berger's one day. I am using the SMK's right now. And I would also like to try the 285's.
