Gunsmithing YHM barrels - good or bad ??

Though I never owned one personally I have shot them as 2 friends had them. They're decent quality "shooter" barrels,but I would not consider them "match" quality.That said, I have a Shaw 24" barrel on a varmint AR that I built that is my best, most accurate shooting AR I own.Fluke? Can't say,but with loads it likes if I do my part it is a 1/2" or less shooter at 100.

I live about 30 min from shaw. Years ago few people in the aera had any real luck with them. I do have an 18" ar with there barrel and it shoots really well.and there 10-22 barrels do well also. They are moving into a bigger building soon so production must be up. and i can no longer go there and pick one up. there is a wait on most barrels. They seem to be getting better.
