Suppressors YHM QD flash hider vs QD brake

This is for the 7.62 Phantom SS. Host will be a 16.5" barreled remington 700.

If the brake would normally make the gun louder without the can, would the brake be louder than the flash hider with the suppressor mounted?

No. And I don't find the noise that much different than with a standard flash hider.
The brake really works! I have one on my LMT 260 Remington barrel and it really makes it shoot soft.

I'm thinking about putting this on my .300wm, so I can move my 7.62 over to it when I want. How do you think it will work on the 300?

My experience is that if it works well with a .308, it works better with a .300

I have a 300WM but it has the Badger FTE on it. Only have the one YHM QD brake.

The brake will work very well...especially on the .300WM. I've got one on an 18" .308. Rifle "hop" disapeared. I will tell you that without the can anyone standing to the side of the weapon will get more noise out of it than the flash hiader QD. User...can't tell any difference.
