Oh come on, I do this all the time.
If its dry heat, ironically, wear more clothes and stay hydrated. Humid and 100, yeah, fuck that.
But... you can always shoot further when it’s 100 outside. It’s always 100 outside here this time of year anyway. Right now I’m shooting 1330 with my 6.5CM, letting the can cool as I type. I’m near sea level here, and can’t get past 1200 in the winter. It has cooled down a bit as it is late afternoon. According to Kestrel I’m right at 1200 FPS on target. Oh, and German - RH is 79%!

West side of the Wasatch would put you fairly close. Always wind up going through Provo Canyon and Heber just because it’s friggin beautiful. Family reunion so I’m going up early to get some trigger time barring anything goofy with my schedule. Not even sure if I’m staying in town or hanging out in the trees just know I’m late.
But it’s a dry heat, a gloriously dry heat. After moving to N Phx from Tulsa I damn sure don’t miss humidity!
Yep, illegal to shoot at night in AZ. I bring a GPS with a 1x1 mile grid on it that tells me who owns the land in each grid. Makes sure I avoid walking into Arizona at night as well as not ending up on the Indian reservation.
Good news is, from distance coyote hunting is viable during the day. They are smarter than most humans and will catch you especially during the day with you breaking the 5 S's. If I do daytime, I basically use a bolt gun, set stand/FFP locations ahead of time, plan routes based on terrain and have clothing on that I blend in with.
At night, different story. I have an entire TA50 cabinet full of equipment for nighttime shooting/hunting and it depends more on if I/we want to shoot long distance, distance with an SPR or use carbines.
Dry firing is your friend. Time will fly by and your UPS driver will show up before you know it

Every time I go through St. George i loose a 17 or 22? Have a sister with 4 kids and they struggle at times so I make sure they have the tools to learn. Her husband is a good dude and a hunter. Scheming on a 22 now cuz I don’t have one in the safe? Probably just roll up with my AR though?
That would be so cool to hunt at night that way. Fall through spring, hunting coyotes is what I do with free time and love hunting them in the spring in the Flaggstaff area. Catch them chasing mice in long meadows riding my Honda rubicon at low RPM. Shoot as many without a caller as I do with. Carbine and bolt combo typical with a remote caller. Wounded woodpecker?
