"You loot, we shoot"

About fucking time...

The warning is to show that we are civilized. At least we warned you. That is the best we could do to peacefully deter you from criminal acts against us. Everything else is in your hands after that point. You want to be stupid, you reap the consequences. And your next of kin cannot try to take legal action against us and say that we did not warn you. We did. You did not fucking listen...

Seems reasonable to me. I had a smart friend of mine say "but death is not the penalty for theft...". Fuck that. Shoot 'em

Death may not be the punishment for theft, however, during the committing of that theft, how am I to know that you are not going to inflict bodily harm upon me or my loved ones? And by the mere act of trying to take something that I rightfully own, that alone warrants a response from me. Whether that response escalates into me pulling the trigger on your ass or not depends on how quickly you realize that I am responding to your unwelcome presence, and giving you a chance to get the fuck out of here unscathed. A chance which you should be taking full advantage of if you possess any resemblance of intelligence...

Same thing when hurricane Rita hit Lake Charles La., big sign at neighborhood entrance: you loot we shoot.

I have extended family in the Stayton/Sublimity area. I’m sure they’re sporting a few of these signs.
If looters were smart;

1. They'd stay away from rural Oregon entirely.

2. They'd realize that they probably have a lot more to fear from those who DON'T have signs up.......

You can't fix stupid, but you sure as hell can drop a Match King or two on it from cover/distance. I'm kind of looking forward to watching the news over the next week or so. Although, I don't know how much is going to be reported........

I think the looting died off quickly after it started. Rural Oregon strapped up and the curfew went into effect. I didn’t hear much about looting after the first day I heard about it.

after that first run the scanners were loaded with suspicious vehicles and suspicious people. Plus the normal dozen or so domestics a day and the meth problems.
Today it’s back to domestics and meth with Karens getting back to reporting speeding and driving issues on the highway.

No warning shots here. Military training does not ever mention warning shots. Any of these Commies set foot on my property, it will be their last day.

^ Plenty of times and places where warning shots were not only authorized, but required by about 2005 in Iraq. Had the trigger lines even marked out by 2007 or so, and moved all the tracers to the top of the magazine.

The real kicker is when the overwatch kid shoots the grill (engine disable), and the damn bullet riccocets off the hood, up and through the windshield, and into the skull of an occupant of the vehicle coming toward you. Nothing came about from it long term, but damn if it isn't a shit ton of sworn statements. We make war ghey....

Anyway, I'm kind of a fan of a few tracer rounds in the beginning. Burn one through a guy for his comrades to see, and it might be an even better deterrent.
