Bedded my Model 10 FPSR and all went well. Waiting till tomorrow to shoot it. (2.5 days). It was a 1 MOA gun and sometimes 1/2 MOA with M852.

What is the greatest improvement you have experienced or heard of?

Re: Your best group size improvement after bedding?

Experienced: a Win 70 Classic in 338 Win Mag. From the factory it shot 4" groups. I looked inside and saw they used hot melt glue as bedding compound around the lug. I removed that crap and did a pillar bedding job and touched up the barrel channel a little. After bedding 3/4 MOA. Happy camper!

Re: Your best group size improvement after bedding?

300saum shot 2-6" before and down to around an inch after bedding. It was a Remington model 7.

Re: Your best group size improvement after bedding?

I have cut them in half

Savage 110 went from 2.0 to around .75-1.0

The real question is how bad was the bedding before ?

Re: Your best group size improvement after bedding?

3/4" to a solid 1/2" group so that's an improvement.

FN SPR factory "crap" bedding (my gun anyway) to a Devcon stress free bedding with full contact and even pressure.

Got over half a inch better using FGMM after bedding mine.
