It's been a while, and I've got the itch to pull on the trigger again after many years off. I'm going to get a TL3 on a KMW Sentinel stock with a barrel from PVA. Will be shooting .308 and 6.5CM (because I have tons of ammo in both. When they're all gone it'll become a dedicated .308 and maybe a .223 trainer). With the other bits and bobs, this is going to be a bit of a dream set. I have a Kahles 6-24 with MSR (love this reticle) to go on it but I'm thinking that's not the right mag. I'd rather have an optic with a better field of view at the lower mag range if possible.
Uses will be having fun in the desert, tolerating the oiks at the public range, F/TR perhaps if I can be fucked to deal with the pedants and that's about it. Not thinking anything PSR other than local comps for shits and giggles with no aspirations of dominating anything other than the local MILFs and perhaps some co-eds with Daddy issues.
I've eyed the Tangent Theta optics but they're beasts in weight and if there's a great option out there that I'm not aware of, then I'm open to the wisdom of the Hide.
Other candidates I'm thinking of are the M series (read German, not US 'assembled) Steiner and perhaps a NOS Hendsoldt in the 3-12 range if anyone has one.
