I know a lot of you change out the stock on your T1X rifles, how is the factory stock for just bench shooting in match's where the factory stock must be used.

I have a T1X, all factory, just a YoDave trigger spring, and a Titan check rest. I don't why this stock gets a bad rep. I like it. The gun shoots so good I want touch anything.

I love the factory T1x/T3x stock.
The vertical pistol grip makes a big difference to precision shooting and the wider forend adds a lot of extra grip for positional shooting.
The T1x stock has quite a short LOP so I needed to add a standard butt pad to shoot comfortably, the cheek rest is necessary for medium or high rings but low rings with a 44mm or 50mm objective scope is comfortable without the rest.

I also like the factory stock. I added the vertical grip, T3X rubber recoil pad, and recoil pad spacer set. I used both spacers. Have a 44mm scope in low rings. No need for a cheek riser.
i am not a huge fan of the stock, but the rifle will shoot accurately in stock. i am ordering a cheekrest from victor company (link below) as i had to go with a DNZ medium height ring to get my scope on the t1x. i am hoping with the cheekrest the line of sight will be correct, in which case i will have no problem at all with the stock. it is a shorter length of pull, but not short enough to be a problem. from what i have seen, a chassis can help with accuracy, but in general only because it helps the shooter with repeatability, not because the t1x stock won't facilitate accurate shooting.

It is the finest of tactical tuperware, yet tupperware it still is. It works, its light, and its accurate. But in my opinion the bravo just does everything better. The grip angle on it is better than the t3 style with pistol grip for me shooting supported, it feels stiffer, it has adjustability and all that jazz...
Now I could get the same groups I can now with it, but with the bravo it's an easier, more ergonomic, and more stable. I dont have to work for it as hard or feel like I'm fighting the rifle. Ymmv

Do you guys putting the T1X in aftermarket stocks mostly shoot supported? I mostly shoot offhand, and I think that's why I like the factory stock.
Almost exclusively supported. Now I do take it out and hunt with it, because it's the accurate .22lr I have, and the krg works fine for that. But if that's what I built the gun for, it would have the factory stock with pistol grip, and a 1-6 in mils. NOT a krg bravo and a 5-25x50 boat anchor lol
Take some lead shot and fill the spaces in the fore end and fill with epoxy. Major difference, stiffer and extra weight.
