Morning all,
Looking to getting my wife in to precision shooting. Is there a chassis that any of you would recommend? I have seen the GA precison youth model, however I dont really want to drop 3400.00 on a youth model rifle. Does anyone know what stocks is used on that rifle? Thanks in advance!

Im building one now for my daughter. Tikka T3 lite in .223, in a Bravo chassis. Lop down to 12.7" or so.

Have her bend her arm at 90degrees, and measure from the inside crook of her elbow to the crease where her trigger finger meets her palm. That will be very very close, and definitely very usable. You can also add .25" to that measurement.

Okay awesome, I was looking at the Tikka T3X and the Bergara B14HMR. Worst case I would end up with a new rifle!

My daughter has a Tikka in a Boyd's AT1 stock.

I think I'm going to get her a PVA John Hancock $2k add glass and go!

The other thought was the Nucleus action in the short length of pull Manners. Which that route was nearly a thousand more than the John Hancock

Just a thought, but a RPR in .223 is about $850 right now. Fully adjustiable, more than accurate enough, and if she ends up not committing to LR shooting your not out much.

I have a 6-year old as well, I put him behind a R700 .223 in a XLR Envy chassis (around $700). LOP is adjustable from 12” to 15” so he can grow with it and it’s fairly easy to re-adjust between shooters. A chasis will also allow you to match the perfect AR-stylepistol grip to the shooter.
