So, I got myself a fancy (and sweet) ZCO 5-27 w/ MCPT 2 reticle.

Combined with a new MPA matrix chassis, I just need rings and a rail.

I have looked a Spuhr, American Rifle Company and a few others... and not quite sure what to pick or choose?

I have heard people love ARC, and to choose the one piece other than the two piece option.

Any suggestions?

You could always rock the ZCO rings on your ZCO scope.

ARC is hands down the best product on the market.

With that out of the way, I would say it depends on your rifle.

Those of us rocking mono platforms like the SCAR, Tikka Tac, MWS ect, will go for the mount so we can get some can't built in.

If you have a standard interface with a canted rail, then the rings make sense.

We have a couple of each, Hard to go wrong with either. The MPA matrix does not have a top rail so I would go with rings personally.

Ok, so grab a rail and rings? Your last two lines threw me off a bit.

I like them, but are they high enough? That is my only concern.
Yes. I have the low height on an integral rail action and the 56mm objective clears just fine. Go with the medium height if you want a little taller. The lows are 0.984" and the mediums are 1.10".

Just tossing the idea out there as another option if you like individual rings. There are a multitude of 36mm rings and mounts to choose from, all of them great quality. Best of luck with your search.

I have Spuhr, Tier 1, and ZCO. The unimount was for a specific problem (flat base that isnt removable). For me the height is the primary decider, but if the decision is rings and the height works, my first choice is the ZCO rings. Every time.

Audere is also worth a look. I'm usually a Spuhr user, but another thread on this forum convinced me to give their scope mounts a try. I'm now not sure which one I like better.

I run a Spuhr 6001 and on my terminus zeus, the caps would hit the mirage shield on my MDT ACC, so I just upgraded to a Spuhr 6602 to get it to clear my mirage shield. I was looking at the 6002, but for some reason the 6002 has no integrated bubble, and I figure since my Terminus only has a 20moa rail, why not throw an extra 20 on there, gives me 27mils to dial with.
