I am thinking about buying a set of the Burris Zee rings. This is for a varmint rifle in 223 Remington cartridge. The rifle will not see heavy duty use. It will be used for ground hog hunting only. The rifle is a Savage Model 12 VLP-DBM. The scope is a Swarovski 6X18 power A line scope. What do you guys think about these rings for the usage I described?? Thanks, Tom.

Re: Zee Rings

I just finished mounting my first set of those, a 1" scope on a 22lr this morning, useing the Sig. Zee rings with inserts. Found I could get a 20+ moa cant w/o having a special base made for this older 22. The rings on this stick are closer togeather than most, and I believe I ended up at about a +38 MOA difference from the std rings, that were on it, at first. I put the -20 in the bottom front and the +10 in the bottom rear.
I'll be useing them again.

Re: Zee Rings

yep - i have them too - so far 100+ rounds - no change in zero - the only downside for me is they slide on and off. Otherwise, great rings - no lapping needed either.
