Rifle Scopes ZEISS Conquest 3-12X56MC vs 4.5-14X50 AO MC

Does anyone have any experience with the ZEISS Conquest 3-12X56 MC and Conquest 4.5-14X50 AO MC scopes and which do you recommend for a .308 precision rifle, max range 900 meters?

I have both but they are on hunting rifles. The 3x12x56 is a great low light scope, it is a front focal model which doesn't lend it's self to precision shot placement as the reticle substensions are huge at 12x. The 4.5x14 model might work but I would think that it suffers from a lack of enough moa in elevation. This could be helped with the right canted base though.
