Zeiss LRP S3 zero stop issues

I have a 4-25 LRP S3. It's on a 21lb 338 edge. When I dial out for distance and shoot sometimes between 15 & 50 rounds I can't return to zero. It's like the price for the stop is moving under recoil. Have tighted to spec and beyond and still same thing. Anyone else seeing this issue. This is the 2nd one same issue.

Old thread, but relevant to my question. I have a Zeiss S3 6 x 36 on my MPA in 6.5PRC. I zero'd and set the zero stop with Hornady 147 ELD. Rifle really doesn't like it, so I tried the Norma, Golden Target 143 GTX, which it really likes. I seldom shoot at paper, but I did to verify the rifles preference.

It shoots just a bit higher that the Hornady. Now that my zero stop is set, I can't lower the reticle past the zero stop. I read the manual and it only says how to set, not reset it. I tried to pull the brass adjuster under the turret out and it didn't change anything. ???

Ideas?

You’ve loosened the turret all the way?

Start by dialing the elevation down to the zero stop. Since you need to adjust the elevation lower than the zero stop, just follow step 2 in the manual.

In step 3, rotate the ballistic stop disc counter-clockwise until the two pins touch, that may give you enough adjustment. If more downward adjustment is required, you will need to lift up on the ballistic stop disc. If you do lift the disc up, make sure that the two pins clear each other. Tighten the set screws.

Then follow step 4.

You should now be able to dial below the original zero stop that you had.

I have friends who own S3 6x36 and they seem like a very nice scope for the money.....but I do dislike the way zero is set on them and its just not something I want mess with at a range or in the field when zeroing. Yeah....maybe picky (well, I am) but even my Viper has (IMO) a more clear cut way to reset zero and my ZCO and Mk5 are much easier still.

Yes. I removed the turret, then loosened the three set screws on the black rotation device below it. Also lifted the brass dial below. I see no process to "undo" my previous zero stop.
loosen the turret, dial up what you need to come down (2 tenths, 1 mil etc etc), tighten the turret in that position then dial it down to zero.
