Rifle Scopes Zeiss target turret retrofit ?

I just picked up a like new conquest 4.5-14x44 z plex with hunter knobs. I'm thinking about sending it to zeiss for target turrets. Will probably just get the elevation turret done.

I've read some comment on the zeiss target turrets feeling a little mushy and not audible. This is not what I want. The clicks on my hunter knobs are tight,positive and audible.

Anyone with any feedback on the target turrets ? Are the retrofits done by zeiss as good as the original equipment ?

Its a hunting scope and not a tactical scope. The target knobs are repeatable and fine for most uses as designed. The retrofit will give you what the factory target knobs will. I own a few of them and they are fine for hunting applications and target shooting.
