Gonna make this brief as its not really consequential.
Updated turrets are a bit stiffer and more tactile. When holding the two optics side by side, I prefer the updated turrets.
However, when behind the rifle, the first batch turrets are “faster” and both stop on .1 marks without issue.
I’ll probably keep the original and the updated without asking zcomp to change anything as I like them both.
My updated turret has exactly .5 below zero on stop and my original has .4 (almost .45). Not a huge issue, but I’d prefer .5 across the board.
Mpct1 vs Mpct2 reticles:
Pick your poison. I prefer non tree reticles as I like the open FoV. But when you need a tree (your really don’t most of the time), it’s nice to have.
The mpct2 for my eyes is the least obtrusive reticle that has .2 throughout the entire reticle. This is likely a personal perception and I cannot back this up with an actual percentage of the fov it takes up.
For me, the mpct1 and Mpct2 are the perfect reticles without and with trees respectively.
Like I said, this is pretty inconsequential, but people have been asking.
