Anybody using these? I'm good with buying a set but wondered what the impressions were from those who have actually used them. I like the idea of internal wrench engagement but what are the real advantages? Per Area 419's website the design provides better alignment.

Anybody using other rings on a Zero press? I have rings from Sinclair, Forster, and SAC - those work OK without causing any issues? Any disadvantages to using non-area419 rings?

    Thanks in advance!

I got a set when I got a Zero. They're good, but just pricey. Adjusting them is really easy with the supplied tool and the bearing surface is significantly larger compared to other rings, however I have no metric for how much better they are at alignment/stability. Still, I liked them so much that I got another set when I got a second and third turret. Are they necessary on a Zero? No, but they're nice.

I like them. Perfectly flat and mate well with the Zero. Easy to adjust.

I like the design a lot.

However, the trade off is if you need more dies than a head will hold, and you don’t want to re adjust dies….you’ll need to buy more turret heads.

Which, to be fair, is the entire point of the system. Set and forget.
