For those who have a Schmidt & Bender 5-25 MTC I have been having some crazy issues. Not sure if it's a zero stop issue or the scope isn't tracking right.

The problem I'm having is that when I'm making my adjustments the scope isn't "catching" at every .1 click. You can't "feel" intermediate adjustments. You can only feel the hard click at every mil. This is only happening for about the first 3 Mils and the. It seems fine. While looking thru the reticle the cross hairs are not moving either until it starts to catch. I've re zeroed it a few times and it's still happens. Pretty stumped.

Scope was Purchased new back in March and has worked fine until now.

Had this with my Millett back in the day and my bushnell recently. For me it was just that the screws on the top of the turret was just a hair loose. For a S&B I doubt that would be the issue, but then again I wouldn't have pegged a S&B for having that sort of issue in the first place either.

Is it on the windage, elevation, or both?

Call S&B customer service. I had a similar issue, they told me exactly how to correct the problem. They are very easy to deal with, located in Va I think.

it's just on the elevation knob. I don't ever mess with windage, I just hold. The screws are the first thing we checked.

Well that is somewhat of a relief to hear. I'll be giving them a call here in a bit. hoping it doesn't turn out to be anything too serious. The scope is still under warranty but I have a class to go to in 2 weeks.

Whoo hoo!! got it figured out and fixed. turned out to be something loose inside the turret. hard to explain but I figured it out and it's working great now. just have to re-zero.
