Here is a new rifle I have been working on. I wanted to make it well balanced, able to shoot very well, fairly light (I believe it is right at 8lbs scoped). This is your on the go tactical rifle. As you can see it is a Savage rifle with a 25" straight 1.05" barrel chambered in 223 rem. and by the second pic you can also see it is balanced out really good. holding off hand it feels like you are holding a magnum long action rifle. accuracy is very good since I have not done any load development and using 55gr soft points.
