NEW M-BRACE Scope Rings from American Rifle Company

Greetings snipers and other liberty-loving Earthly inhabitants,

American Rifle Company has given our beloved M10 Scope Rings a new look and a new designation for the 2020s and beyond. Hence forth, they will be dubbed M-BRACE Scope Rings which ought not to come as a surprise considering the recent introduction of our M-BRACE Uni-Mount. See M-BRACE Uni-Mount on the Hide at: https://www.snipershide.com/shootin...pe-mount-from-american-rifle-company.7092685/

The new M-BRACE rings are functionally equivalent to the OG M10s. So then why did we do this? Well, I was just screwing around one day and thought I’d explore a new look for the rings. It didn’t take long to stumble upon something I thought looked pretty cool so I showed the design to others at ARC and all were in agreement that, yeah, they look cool. And truth be told, I actually designed these before designing the M-BRACE Uni-Mount which inherited in good looks from me, no, I meant from the revised M10 design. Now it makes sense that the M-BRACE Scope Rings and the M-BRACE Uni-Mount resemble one another. The new M-BRACE scope rings are also a bit beefier than the originals, again, just because I thought they looked cool that way. And there you have it.

Price for the M-BRACE Scope Rings is $179, same as that for the M10 Scope Rings. We’ll be discontinuing but not discounting the M10 rings so if you must have the originals, get them while they last. Some sizes are already gone.

So, come and get the best scope rings in the industry brought to you by the self-proclaimed and undisputed scope ring champion, American Rifle Company. But seriously they are the best and everyone knows it. Available here: https://www.americanrifle.com/shop/product/1414

And as always, thank you all for your business.

Ted

ELR opportunities in the Smokys?

Wife and I are looking to move up to the Smoky's next year, either the northeast TN or northwest NC areas. Wondering if there are any ELR opportunities in that area, or even within a couple hours? I've done some digging and the best I've been able to find is a private club with a 300m rifle yard. We live in Central FL right now, and I have to drive about 2 hours to get to a 600m range, which still isn't great. I figured heading up to the mountains it'd be easier to find somewhere to reach out, not harder...😅

Better valve clip on for 3k: nv vs thermal

I originally had intended to snag either a steiner c35 or swarovski tm35, both of which are msrp 5k but deals place them sub 3k.

For 100-300 yards, at the 3k price point, what would offer the best image clarity? A clip on NV like AGM or one of the thermals above?

As listed in my other thread this is for a trg22 with a march 4.5-27x52 scope, and will be used for pig (in woods) and coyote (open field).

Hunting & Fishing “Missed Connections” Afield

Anyone else just having one of those years in the field? I just can’t seem to connect with the buck I’ve been targeting. I’ve seen him at a distance a few times now, but can’t get him inside bow range. I decided a Craigslist “Missed Connections” style message would be appropriate. Join me in commiserating our loneliness if your season has been as frustrating as mine.

Today was my third sighting of you; you haven’t noticed me. The wind only gave me two location options, and I chose poorly if I ever want to hold you in my arms. I thought, being a 60° day, that you would travel past the water hole I was sitting 35 feet away from. Instead, you walked within 3 yards of my ground blind, 90 yards away. Why must you tempt me? I’d love to meet. If you see this; Same place, same time, tomorrow.
- Longing for you, The Loneliest Sportsman.

Comet viewing for those who are so inclined -- Nishimura

If you have a good set of binoculars or a good spotter... and want to get up early... Comet Nishimura is approaching its brightest. In fact, this one may soon be visible with the naked eye.

It should be visible close to Venus early in the morning...

Bright green, apparently. Lots of copper in this one perhaps?

Cheers,

Sirhr

Markwayne Mullin Throws Down on US Senate floor

Love it.

The Teamsters let my mom cross the picket lines to work every day and walked her to her car when she was done late at night.

My grandparents ran a large trucking firm and while there were some heated words, everyone got along when things were settled. The teamsters took care of them too.

Grizzly’s on the farm.

I have no problem with dropping grizzly bears close to or in the area of farms, ranches and populated areas. The eco lovers in Washington DC love it.

But, for each and every bear they drop in an area where the local residents and local lawmakers don’t want them, an equal or larger amount of bears should be air dropped over the areas the eco lovers live, the city limits of Los Angeles, San Francisco, new jerk city and most especially Washington DC. Maybe extra bears for Washington DC.

Love it when people in Washington make decisions, they think are right, with no consideration, concern or even knowledge of the needs of the local people (aka big hips obama making schoollunch decisions for my caloric starved, rural, very poor students)
