I want to sell a bunch of equipment I no longer use. What is the best way to do so? Any pointers? I imagine I should start with the less expensive stuff first and get a good reputation. Take lots of pics and be as specific and clear as you can. I am looking for do’s and don’ts from those of you that have sold stuff in forums like this. Thanks in advance for your input and advise.

Well, step 1 is likely to be ‘pay the supporter fee’. But beyond that, step 2 is find the buy sell trade section and look at some listings. High demand items need less pictures, but everything needs a picture usually.

List stuff honestly and up front and you won’t have any issues. Bullshit and fuck around, and all you’ll have is issues.

As everyone else says
  1. Clear and honest descriptions
  2. Photos, especially, if the item has dings. Show the dings
  3. Clear payment terms and whether shipping is included for the price
After sale is made
  1. Confirm receipt of funds in a PM
  2. Ship ASAP and send tracking number if there is one via PM
  3. Leave feedback
