Hey guys, I ended up ordering a zero MOA scope mount for my setup. I have a Arken ep5. It has 110 mils of adjustment and on my AR-10 308 it would dial to about a thousand which works just fine for me. After you guys taught me that it would be more clear with a 20 MOA Mount since it would be in the center of the lens more, I decided to send this mount back and get the 20 MOA version. I now have a hunch they don't make that 20 moa version, although I'm still trying to confirm. Just curious if they don't have what I'm looking for, how much of a difference are we talking? Do you think a 20 moa mount would be quite noticeably more clear with this scope at range? Or is it more like, 'Yeah I think maybe it's a bit more clear, maybe'? Obviously what I'm getting at is if this is a huge deal I'll definitely change my plan to get something better. But if it's more technically clear but not so noticeably clear I'll probably just keep what I have.

Just trying to gauge how big a deal this is for the effort.

Do you guys have any insight for me?

Hey guys, I was sure that Seekins made a 34 mm Hit Precision scope mount on 20 moa but now can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know if they actually offer this or not? I don't see it on their website but I have found two places where it is listed to sell. I'm trying to figure out if those are typos or what's going on?

Rifle is an ar15, sionics upper, 16.1” total barrel length, 14.5” sans flash hider, 2-10x32 pstII scope. 75gr hpbt, h335, lc, cci #400 22.0-23.5grs in 0.3 increments. Aiming point was middle of each diamond. I shot clockwise on the left target and right to left on the right target. The high bullet bottom right I know I pulled. I’m thinking my load is around 22.3. I can overlay with ballistic x if someone desires.

It’s not a precision rifle, sionics says their barrels are 1.5moa. My normal load is the single target for reference. I was a little hurried in shooting it as I needed to leave for work. Poa was top of big diamond.

First off, if this is not allowed, I truly do apologize. I don't even know if this would be the correct place to ask this if it is allowed. On May 16th, a EF3/4 tornado ripped through the small Kentucky town I call home, which is London / Laurel County. The death toll right now stands at 23 with rescue efforts still going on. Over 1500 homes where damaged or destroyed. Two of the families I personally know lost everything they had. These are both young couples just starting their lives together. All they came away with was the shirts on their backs and what they were able to save is more than likely ruined or unusable. But the most important thing is they are alive. One member in each of these families are school teachers who work to guide kids on the right path every day and they are also athletic coaches, helping kids even more.

I can 100 percent for certain say the people I have met and became friends with in the shooting community are second to none when it comes to top notch individuals willing to help one another. So with that, I am posting this in an effort to help these two families rebuild and continue their lives together. I have already donated to both of them and am still trying to do more. It is not uncommon for many of us to shell out thousands of dollars for rifles, optics and the components to make them go bang each and every day without thinking about it. And I am not on here asking for anyone to donate thousands of dollars. I'm just asking as a community, if you could find it in you to try and help these two couples with anything no matter how big or how small, it would go a long way in helping them get back on their feet. Again, the reason I am reaching out to the shooting community is because I know first hand the kind of good people that is contains.

For the bench rest and PRS guys. How well and how often do you guys clean your 22lr. I’ve owned multiple 10/22s but only clean them when they start having problems. I just picked up a bolt 22 and would like to keep it accurate, do you only clean it when your accuracy goes down ? Thanks

I have a set of Sig 6k HD 10x32 binos that I like. Even on battery saving/short range mode they have plenty of jam and I don't notice a lot of the blue tint that the 3k and 10k users report. I like the BDX app and the display. Only real minor issue is that the reticle is misaligned.

That said in low light they could be better. Inam considering getting the 6k HDX 10x42mm. If anyone here has used both do you think the latest generation and larger objective lenses would offer a noticeable improvement in low light conditions?

The 10k may be better yet but for me that's too much money for something I might lose.

I´m looking for a piggyback red dot for my SPR.

The scope is a ZCO 210 and I want to mount the red dot in front of the elevation turret.
This turret is .87" high (above the scope body).

The mount is from innogun and this is how the mount clamp looks like:

This alone will be .6" high, and I have to add an adapter plate of some kind (depending on the red dot I use):

With the bottom thickness of the red dot, I´m guessing that I´m already above the turret with the lenses.


I thought about the Holosun HE509T-RP-X2 as the sight, but realized that the mounting system is a bit akward.
You have to install an adapter plate under the red dot, to fit the adapter plate of the mount, so two adapter plates would be involved and all-in-all it will make a little tower on its own.


So guys, which red dot would you choose with my scope and mount and how would you attach it to the mount?
