This thing is a friggin laser beam. Can’t miss with this barrel. Show your father in law he was wrong about you and you CAN hit your targets with this stupid accurate barrel. Has 518 verified rounds down the pipe:

498 x my hand load. The That load is Berger 105, 40 grains of RL16 and Lapua brass.

20 rounds of FGMM Berger 105 factory ammo.

The hand loads run right at 3050fps at 2500 ft above sea level. The FGMM with the same bullet was faster than my hand load. Those ran at 3125 or so. I only chrono’d 5 of them but was surprised they were faster than my hand loads because I considered my hand loads to be mild. I didn’t know they were THAT mild though. Better for barrel life I guess.

Hi guys! Long time lurker, finally decided to make an account and upgrade. I am an general aviation mechanic outside of Colorado Springs. I've been shooting long range for a while now, but only recently decided to try some local PRS and NRL matches. That was an absolute blast, but I haven't had nearly as much time to practice recently due to certification exams for work taking up all my time. I'm jumping back in after a bit of a hiatus.

This is a 24" heavy varmint barreled action chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor upgraded with a Timney trigger, Area419 Hellfire Match brake (6.5mm), MDT ESS chassis, and 20MOA picatinny scope rail. Includes two polymer 10rd AICS magazines, also from MDT. There is a scratch on the hand guard, picture included, but other than that it is in great shape. I am also willing to sell just the chassis, or just the barreled action, and find another buyer for the rest later. The barrel has ~1050rds on it. As I am an unknown here on the Hide, I have included a paper with my username and a date on it in the pictures just to prove posession. Please reach out to me if you'd like additional verification. I used a Vortex Radian tripod with their head for a while and then got a RRS TFC-34L MK2 along with one of their anvil 30 heads and I am just not a fan of the anvil 30 at all really. Is there a way to swap the head to something like the more traditional 40-50mm ball heads? Or do I need to get a whole different tripod? I haven’t seen anything on the RRS website that just has their version of tripods like the vortex radian or something, so what one is it that I should get if that is the style I prefer?
