I’m looking to either have built or purchase a top-notch AR 15 in 22 arc with either a 16 or 18 inch proof, carbon fiber barrel. I will be adding a suppressor and will be using this mainly as a coyote rifle. I am out in Colorado and the longest I’ll be shooting is probably under 500 yards. The Alex pro elite LTR is the only AR that I have found that fits the bill. I would appreciate any recommendations on either complete uppers or full out builds. Thanks.

So I have had an Origin with a Medium Palma 223 Wylde for a bit.

Just recently realized the bolt handle was hitting the chassis and did some dremel work... no problem....

Come to notice marks on my barrel where the forearm screws protruding.
Are there shorter screws I can use? Washers?
Or just dremel again (I don't care about much about altering the stock)
I see now KRG says 1.25 is OK for about 4" from the action, so a palma is not really recommended, but these screws are only 1.25" from the recoil lug....

Any suggestions?

Game Wardens with Texas Parks and Wildlife arrested Ethan McNeely, a 39 year old Oregon transplant, yesterday after discovering him crouched in the woods below the dam at Lake Tawakoni attempting to hunt squirrels with nothing but his bare hands and teeth.

McNeely, who insists he’s “a primal predator, not a sportsman,” argued with officers that his “God-given claws and fangs” exempt him from needing a hunting license. “If I catch it with my molars, that’s between me and Mother Nature,” he reportedly told wardens while spitting out a mouthful of bark.

Authorities were not convinced. TPWD officials say that while McNeely’s hunting technique is unique, state law doesn’t make exceptions for “wannabe cavemen.” He was booked on charges of hunting without a license and disorderly conduct after growling at the officers.

McNeely maintains he’s being persecuted. “They can cage me,” he said, “but they’ll never cage my inner wolf!”

I have a short action tan MPA BA Comp chassis for sale. It is in very good shape but has been used some. It comes with a lot of extras like the MPA side rails $129, a set of Gray Ops side weights $120, BA Comp internal forend weights $120. The chassis was bedded for a Rem 700 action so should fit 700 footprint actions. Might need to modify the recoil lug area but with the price it would be worth doing a little dremel work. $369 in extras so at $750 the chassis would be only $381
