Anyone know of a good scope mount that is around 1.8” height with zero MOA slope? My Accuracy International AX50 has a really high cheek riser and using a 1.5” high mount is too low for proper eye placement.

I really like the Spuhr SP-4024 mount but nobody has the older version with both rings having 6 screws, I really don’t like the SP-4024C version.

Any suggestions on a High Mount that has 6 screws per ring with zero MOA slope and atleast 1.7” high? It’s got to be able to take the blast from a 50 BMG.

Is anyone using positional type of slings while hunting, specifically while using a bipod or tripod?

I have an SAP positional sling but only use it to carry my rifle on my back when walking into a coyote stand. Once on the bipod or tripod my sling just hangs beside the gun.

admittedly I’m not well practiced at all shooting with this sling. With a stable platform like a bipod/tripod is it worth the extra complexity to get locked into the sling as well?

I like to keep things simple but I am packing in a positional sling that I know isn’t being utilized.

I just ordered the 21C Hydro press and Wilson in-line dies. If you switched from traditional seating dies to in-line dies did you keep your traditional dies for use when less precision and more speed were needed, or did you move 100% to the in-line dies? I'm thinking I will probably keep my traditional dies just so I have the option, but I'm curious what others experience has been.

Bought years ago for a build I never followed through on. I'm not sure who made the upper but it matches the handguard perfectly. Handguard has some magpul mlok covers on it. Neither piece has ever been assembled. The handguard does come with all the hardware, wrench, and barrel nut which I believe is the titanium version. The handguard was bought direct from MI. I don't believe they offer OD anymore.

Making a table for the wife lately and Saturday, I did what we are never supposed to do. No gloves on, I was pulling a 6' board through my table saw and I found the blade....

My safety glasses had dust all over them and I just couldn't see the blade that well I guess. my wife was helping catch the boards and watched me do it too and she also said that she didn't think I was that close to it. Yes, I kept working and got all of them ready to join because I'm a man.

Of course this is just one of many accidents. I once caught a metal chuck that came off my lathe with my freaking bear hand (just a reaction to save it from hitting my lathe bed)and had a steel splinter inside my palm for a few days before realizing why it kept hurting so bad. i got it out with a magnet.

Mashed off the end of my left thumb between gears or a flywheel and starter on a log splitter when I was 17, and I've cut myself many times.

Are there any variation in the Remington 700 action? I have two Remington 700 SA barreled actions; they may have different triggers. One would drop into a 2013 AICS chassis, and the other would not, it seemed it got hanged up by the trigger area (it's hard to see). They both would drop right into the same HS Precision police stock. I don't want to start grinding the AICS chassis unless I am 100% sure. Any idea?
