Hey guys, I got a wild hair brained idea about 6 months ago to neck the dasher up to 7mm, to be called the 7 Dumbo lol. Going into it with few expectations and viewing it as a experiment, hoping its a success.
I worked together with manson reamers to get a reamer built and sent it off the #620riflewerks to get the chambering done. (By the way he is a jam up gunsmith if somebody is looking for a guy to do your work with good turnaround time.) I opted to use a 8 twist crb comp barrel, finished at 28 inches.
I want to get it to shoot 2400+ with the 180+ bullets, preferably the 190 atip or 190 bergers. If it all works out I will certainly be shooting it in a few matches to see how it handles that vs the 22 dasher and 6 dasher that I normally use.

Every time I anneal I get a couple pieces of brass that get a pinkish blotch on the annealing area. The flame Hotspot (blue part) isnt directly touching the brass. I always have the brass annealing until the flame starts warming (changing color) exactly how your supposed to anneal. Does this make that piece of brass unusable or give it a weak spot? What causes it? It would make sense if I was blasting the brass really close but im anneal exactly how youre supposed to anneal with an open flame.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some of the experience I had while setting my own personal record for farthest hit this weekend.

I had the opportunity to go out to a range while visiting some family and I brought the MRAD with 300 PRC barrel. I had the personal goal of 2500 yards as that’s the max for the range, but only was able to make it happen at 2158 yards.

I wanted to ask a question or two to those of yall with more experience regarding wind and ELR shooting all together.

-Wind calls from AB Quantum were accurate out to a mile (round was still supersonic) then at the 2k mark I found myself holding a ridiculous and inconsistent amount to get impacts. Input? I’m pretty confident I was putting the right data in, and wind was generally consistent from me to the target with what I was seeing at my own location.

-Elevation data, again between AB Quantum and a kestrel which is still just AB vs AB. What are you guys doing to true up at distance? I’m familiar with MV truing, CDF, and DSF, but what are y’all doing for those longer distances to increase first round hit probability?

Hey guys, dont post here too often but looking for some opinions. Ended up offloading a mk5 and looking to upgrade my glass. Scope will be used strictly in a PRS environment. Was looking into the Burris XTR Pro, and the Gen 3 razor. Im pretty between the two, but open to suggestions.
Ive looked through a Razor before and the FOV was really nice and the glass looked very clear to me.
Everything i see on the burris shows either similar glass or slightly worse than the RG3, ive never actually looked through one though. i like the “race dial” feature on the burris, and i also like the capped windage on it. Just looking for general opinions on either or, or a different optic in the same “tier”

Nice Larue STOMP mount. Long since discontinued, used on a variety of CAG guns, mk11’s and other GWOT clones. This is the mount with the longer diving board, so it won’t fit 3-12x50 PMII S&B scopes. Fit my 4-16x42 PMII just fine, and would be perfect for an NXS or the like with 30mm spacers.

Or run it like any other mount without the top plate (also seen frequently on issued guns)

We are looking at adopting a Shepherd and wanted to see if anyone here had any good training articles/books/approaches I could study to try and better train the puppy. Just looking for resources/insight into training methods/cool tricks/toys (like puzzle food bowls) and things to keep challenging the dog outside of the fitness side of the house.

I have a Triggertech Diamond Flat Gold Simlngle stage looking to sell. I switched to the Two stage and don’t need this sitting around. Looking to get $305 shipped.

For the past 2 years, I ran my Vudoo in an XLR Envy Pro, and it ran like a sewing machine. I have shot two matches recently after putting it into an ACC Elite and have had feeding issues. on about 40% of my stages. I have a barricade stop, so it is not pressure on the mag. Can someone that has reliable feeding snap a pic for me on the position of the mag catch line? I have played with multiple settings and can't seem to dial in it where I want.
