Firearms Desert Tech SRS A2 BIG PACKAGE

Hey guys,

I’m toying with the idea of selling my SRS A2. I just don’t use the multi caliber system like I thought I would so I’m considering offloading this and getting into a dedicated 6.5 for my general plinking.

Here’s what the package includes: DT SRS A2 chassis with both covert and regular hand guards, parts kit, DT action screw torque wrench, DT general maintenance torque with bits, 26” 6.5 conversion kit (~1.1k rounds on the barrel), 26” 338LM conversion kit (20 rounds on the barrel).

This thing shoots lights out and is in great condition. I’ve just got the bug again.

Looking to get 6k for everything. I’d throw in the gen 1 razor and rings for another 1.2k. Suppressor not included.

Would consider trades + cash. I’d like to get into an AI 6.5CM of some sort. Might consider other trades, let me know what you’ve got.

So over at least five years across multiple states and multiple counties in multiple jurisdictions. It’s a nationwide racketeering scandal carried out by organized criminal organizations.

This phenomenon caught my attention last winter when a small MI city police arrested a executive from Thailand visiting one of his manufacturering facilities and I guess Asian men in suits is a huge trigger because they arrested him for DUI- even though he blew 0.0 because as was caught by body cam- “that way we can hold him until at least Monday and figure something out by then” end quote
This fake dui arrest victim is half owner of one of the worlds largest manufacturing companies Thailand , Philippines, Japan , US Canada Mexico . And I haven’t heard anything on this MI case in few months but the lawsuit amounts mentioned were like 3.5 times the size of the Village budget . And I got to thinking what happens to the poor fuckers caught up in this policing for profit scandal that are not international billionaires?

Firearms Colt Officer's model****SPF

I have two of these and want to upgrade one of them to something nicer like a Dan Wesson Specialist, which would be the only possible trade. Good condition, a couple small scratches, just cleaned at my gunsmith and both springs replaced. Shoots like a dream. Comes with one mag which I forgot to photo cause I didnt sleep last night.

Rings vs Mount. Recs?

Whilst I wait for my barrel to get chopped, I have a mount question. I'm building up an elf owl build, and I plan on using a PST Gen II 1-6. EGW High Rings? PSA Sabre (Warne) mount? Steiner P series mount? PA Glx? Something else? While I like my ADM mounts I really have NO need for QD, so I thought I'd save some bucks there. But I'm still uncertain if I should just go with rings or a mount?

SOLD NDM-86 Dragunov 7.62x54 for sale

My local Gun guy is selling a Chinese NDM-86 Dragunov rifle. It has 3 magazines and is the cleanest one I've ever seen. It is a KSI import with absolutely beautiful wood. Currently has it listed for $10500 but think he has some wiggle room. Wish I had the money but I don't. Let me know if you're interested and I'll forward his info to you. Thanks

Stock conundrum

I have a bergara ridge sp in 223. Shoots great with factory stock but I prefer vertical grips and honestly, the look of chassis or aftermarket stocks.

I'm torn between a krg bravo and a ag composites armor.

My only concern is feeding from aics. I had a newer remington 700 that the mags from krg wouldn't feed last few rounds. they'd nose dive.

So what would you do?
Option 1: get a bravo and mag with extended latch and hope for the best while trying different mags

Option 2: buy the ag composites fiberglass stock without cheek riser and bdl and know it will feed but have to load from top all the time

Theyre roughly the same price and I only use it coyote hunting and off a bench out to 600 yards. No matches that require a mag.

Id also note that even with a mag I single load often, maybe that's because the one I had didn't feed lol

HELP! Point of Impact Doesn't Match Ballistic Calculator (@ Mid-Range)

Hi all,

I've been a lurker on-and-off for these forums for several years now, but I've run into a conundrum that's convinced me to make an account and ask for some help. I recently took my hunting rifle, a 300 Win Mag, out to the range to check the zero and do some mid-range trajectory validation. The weapon is currently averaging 3/4" groups with my handloads, which I am satisfied with for how difficult it is to shoot such a light gun without any of the conveniences of my target rifle setup. After verifying that it was zeroed at 100 yards, I shot at a 10" steel plate that I had set up at 500 yards (verified with a Leica Rangefinder), and missed it entirely. There was no wind on the range, and I couldn't see any splash from the sides or above the plate, so i assumed it hit low and was obstructed by the mound I had placed the target on. I prepared a firing solution using both Hornady's 4DOF calculator as well as my Kestrel 5700 with Applied Ballistics before coming to the range, and double checked my scope turret to verify I had dialed 7.5 MOA. Firing again, half-way between center and the top of the plate, and the bullet impacted the very bottom edge of the plate. Today, I took my rifle out to the range and performed the same task, with the EXACT same results. The rifle is properly zeroed at 100 yards, and impacting over 1 MOA low at 500 yards. I simply cannot understand what is causing this, because I have done everything I can think of to eliminate unknowns and reduce the odds of equipment failure. I am loath to waste expensive powder, bullets, brass, and carefully reloaded ammo blindly. By my understanding, the only way for this to be (assuming firing system is not to blame) is that my velocity is somehow ~160 fps slower than my LabRadar and Garmin are measuring, or I have the WORST batch of Berger 215 Hybrids known to man, performing at .180 G7 BC instead of the advertised .354 G7 BC. Any ideas?

Thanks

Environmental Conditions on both range days:
Elevation: 5500 feet
Station Pressure: 24.42 inHG
Temp: 51 F
Wind: 0-1 MPH from 2 O'clock
Humidity: 20%
Angle of Fire: ~3 degrees? (Range is Exceptionally Flat)

Equipment and Shot Conditions:
Rifle: Christensen Arms Ridgeline Titanium chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum (1:10 Twist, unsuppressed)
Scope: Nightforce SHV 5-20x56 FFP on Nightforce Steel Base and Seekins Precision Rings (Scope Height @ 1.95")
Ammo: Handloads; Peterson 300 WM Long Brass, 79.0 gr VVN570, Berger 215gr Hybrid Target Bullets
Muzzle Velocity: 2970 FPS, ES: 21 fps (verified by LabRadar during load development and Garmin Chrono at both range trips)

TL;DR: Gun shoots 3/4" groups from cold-bore, cold-shooter regularly at 100 yards. Gun shoots ~1.1 MOA lower than predicted at 500 yards. Equipment and Ammo very unlikely to be at fault, verified firing solution with Hornady 4DOF and Kestrel w/ Applied Ballistics, verified zero and velocity every range trip. Help .
