Really Right Stuff On the Decline?

Overall, RRS support is painful to get a response and slow as molasses to fix their errors. I ordered an apex conversion kit for my Ultralight RRS tripod and Anvil. Instead of buying the bundle I pieced my way there over time. While trying to install the legs onto the apex centerpiece one of the bolts would not slide into the leg holes. I had to sand it down to get it into the leg. At which point I said to myself, for what we pay for the RRS gear I will just have them ship me a new bolt that is not out of spec. It took a week to get the part and they sent the wrong one. Now trying to get them to expedite the 2nd attempt and yet to get a human on the phone or a response via email.
On the flip side the guy at Two Vets answers my call and emails on weekends. I have not had a need for support from TVT ironically. I did ultimately buy their Recon v2 Inverted tripod. I went with it because I liked their 3-leg option vs the RRS 2-leg - more compact. So far it is pretty nice.
More or less venting, but curious if others are seeing issues with RRS or figured out how to get them to be more responsive?

Redding T-7 Turret Press Dust Cover

I've got dust covers from Stan at Radio Dust Covers for my AMP Annealer, AMP Press, and ChargeMaster 1500. I contacted him with dimensions on my Redding T-7 Turret Press (slightly larger than the AMP Press cover) and talked him into a custom job to make me one that would fit. He kindly obliged, and the result was fantastic ... a perfect fit. Below are the before and after photos. I'm sure he'd make one for you too, if you asked.

No compensation for me ... just shouting out someone that makes high quality products for a fair price.

Two notes ... (1) needed to be a little bigger side-to-side for the handle I use, and (b) needed to take into account the Inline Fabrication quick-change base that I use. If you don't have a handle, and you don't use a base, all dimensions will be a little different and you should measure and work with Stan for the right size.

Just got back from Traveling and I wanted to do a simulcast of the Everyday Sniper Podcast on the Hide so you can watch this or listen to it.

In this episode I talk Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation, Laura and I attended this event in Virginia and really enjoyed it. The Round Robin events they had were super fun. It was Fishing, Skeet Shooting, Pistol Shooting and then to Bow.

Then I went to Spear Mountain to Visit the Major Land Sniper Cup location. I helped with the course of fire. The goal of this visit was to make the Major Land event more efficient.

I simplified the course of fire to not only hopefully fix the flow, but to fix the way you ID targets and maybe the way we use the Range Officers.

I really think people will like the changes I made to it. Super straight forward.

Lastly My barrels for the 6 ARC are here !

I can not move forward with my 6mm ARC bolt gun project and pair it alongside the 6ARC Gas Guns.

But don't forget the live streams are available.

Thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thanks for being a part of the everyday sniper podcast.

Barrett QDL brake on a Model 99?

Hello everybody.
I own a 32" Barrett 99 in 50 BMG.
I have read somewhere that replacing the OEM Muzzle Brake with a QDL would redirect the muzzle blast away from the shooter (or at least reduce it).
Can anyone confirm?
If so, my basic understanding of physics suggests that actual felt recoil would increase, but how much?
It is a $500 piece of gear and it would be nice to know if it's worth dropping the coins on it...
