This rifle is built around a Savage 12FV action which sits in an XLR Element Magnesium ambi chassis. The chassis has both built in level and full length Arca rail.

Criterium 6GT barrel (brand new) with Area 419 Hellfire brake is properly torqued and headspaced using an NSS stainless barrel nut and squared lug.

The buttstock is a B5 systems PRS stock adjustable for length and height and is attached to the chassis with an XLR folding adapter.

EGW 20 moa rail is mounted/torqued to the action

Original takeoff .223 barrel with less than 300 rds on it. (This barrel shot .5moa with factory GMM 77 gr SMKs.)

Easy bolt lift bearing installed along with Savage BA bolt knob

The only marks I can find are on the objective side of the turrets a tiny bit of thread locker leaked from the ring. It’s hard to capture in pics but I can text/email more if anybody wants. As much as I like these scopes the reticle just isn’t my jam. Comes with the box and everything a new one would.

Looking to move on from TBAC 338 Ultra SR. Long story short, I had access to a 1500+ yd range, got myself setup with a 300NM, during the waiting period for this can, lost access so sold the rifle and the can has basically sat since.

This is the Gen1 version. It has 20 rounds of 300NM, 10 7SAUM and 30 308 through it for a total of 60 rounds.

I'm going to post a quick review, as I was unable to find much information relating to LMT barrel conversion accuracy, specifically relating to how a barrel performed before sending it to D Wilson for conversion versus post conversion results.

I'm happy to say accuracy seems unchanged following the barrel conversion, which is to say it is very good.

I used the exact same ammunition, loaded on the same day with the same lots of components. This is hand loaded 77 grain Sierra match king, but other ammunition from AAC produced repeatable results as well. All groups were 10 rounds fired at 100 yards.

The barrel I'm focusing on today is a 16" Bartlein 223 from Craddock Precision. Prior to sending it off, I fired this group from a mocked up traditional AR upper:

That high shot was my first round, some of that might have been me, dealing with 20-30 mph wind and I'm not necessarily a precision shooter. That said, I'm very pleased with the results. I wanted to document my very unscientific findings, just in case anyone was curious.
