SOLD MPOD mystic precision f-class bipod

MPOD f class
2.625” width (I had forgotten this was available in two sizes when I first posted)
This is the smaller of the two, and the egw website lists the width as 2.625”

My calipers show it just slightly smaller, photo added

I ordered this and used it for awhile with a tslot to pic rail adapter I put together. I used it mostly for some 50 yard rimfire benchrest where we are shooting a single shot at individual targets and I have found the adjustable legs on the Rempel f class to be more user friendly and just no longer use the mpod

Has a few marks on the finish I tried capturing in the photos

$200 shipped

Optics WTS Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25 Double Turn MOA Turrets MOA P4F FFP Reticle

I am selling this Schmidt Bender PMII 5-25 rifle scopes. It has Double Turn MOA Turrets and the MOA P4F FFP reticle.

In February 2025 this scope was sent to S&B for overhaul and to have CCW turrets installed, so internals and functions are like new. It has not been mounted or shot since overhaul. Originally it had clockwise turrets. S&B paperwork is shown and a copy will be provided to new owner. If you are looking at this scope you know it's value.

Scope serial number 371698 is the scope in great condition. Glass is near new. There is a minor scratch on the objective bell as pictured and there may be marks on various dials but everything operates like new condition smooth since turrets were overhauled by S&B. See pictures below. I am asking $2300 $2200 $2100 $2000 OBO for scope 371698. Venmo or Paypal FF or pay the Paypal fee.

If you want a specific picture of anything just PM me. I can usually ship within a day or two after payment is received.

**SOLD** Scope serial number 360189 was wrapped with self sticky camo wrap and upon removal it discolored the black finish slightly. I spoke with S&B about it they said its nothing to worry about. The objective glass looks like it has a couple of tiny dots on it. I did a basic clean but I did not want to scratch the glass, so I left it alone. As you can imagine these dots can not be seen while looking through the scope and the image appears perfect as expected with S&B glass. There may be marks on various dials but everything operates like new condition smooth. see pictures below. I am asking $2100 $1950 OBO for scope 360189 Scope 360189 was sold.

MicroBest Chrome BCG - Pictures and Comparison

This is only pictures and a comparison. There are tons of durability reviews if you do a search.

MicroBest is the OEM for many big name manufacturers. BCM, SOLGW, etc. They offer a bunch of configurations in a handful of finishes. This is the all chrome, C158 variant. It also comes in Phosphate and Nitride. The chrome option is available with different material extractors and gas keys as well as unique fasteners and Sprinco springs. These carriers run anywhere from $90 in phosphate up to $165+ in chrome with different options.

This is the base MicroBest chrome finish with C158 bolt BCG and I planned on installing Sprinco extractor spring and gas rings. When I took it apart I found a 5 coil CS spring and heavy gas rings. I believe they are Sprinco but the BCG was not listed as containing such and I can't prove they are Sprinco. I did not change them as a result. I paid $118 shipped to my door.

I have a Brownells chrome BCG that I purchased last year. I do not believe it is made by MicroBest. It was listed as having a 9310 bolt. The markings are lasered instead of engraved like MicroBest. The original extractor spring and rings were pretty soft so I changed them to Sprinco. I paid $90 for the Brownells BCG, they are now listed for $120. I would choose the MicroBest over the Brownells but there is nothing wrong with the Brownells and will continue using it. The Brownells BCG has maybe 150 rounds on it.

The last picture is a bolt face comparison of the Brownells BCG, MicroBest BCG, and a no-name BCG I bought for $40 five or six years ago. The no-name part is likely Chinese; it is out of spec in every way possible. You can see how bad it is with the naked eye looking at the lugs alone.

I believe the MicroBest branded BCGs to be the best value options on the market today. I have been using their phosphate BCG's for many years. The chrome options are the sweet spot for quality, finish, and value. Everything you need, nothing you don't. If you do a web search for "chrome microbest bcg" you get tons of options at very good prices. I hope this helps.

I can't insert pictures, only add them. The MicroBest is all chrome and new, the Brownells has phosphate fasteners and is used.

Bought it here on the hide. Has DI Precision Windage turret, Ranger Wrap to keep it protected, and turret tape which can be easily removed.

For an extra $100 I’ll send it with the Area 419 match rings. The one piece mount I am keeping for my 3-18.

There is a small blem on the objective that was on there when I bought it. Blem is not visible when looking through the scope. Red arrow points to what I’m talking about in the pic below. That tidbit wasn’t disclosed to me prior to purchase but I am making it known.

Looks like the "Swamp" is at it again!

Hadn't seen this discussed yet, and it is starting to bug me just a tad.

This whole business about "one big beautiful bill" for reconciliation (in the House) vs. Two smaller bills in the Senate. The Senate has quickly passed the first of the two smaller bills already, while we await the House "one big" bill. The concern being, the 1st of two smaller Senate bills does not include the provisions to make Trump's temporary tax cuts permanent. The continued fear being that the 2nd of the two bills won't come before the tax cuts expire later this year. It seems like the "Swamp" (i.e. Senate RINOs) want that tax money.

Is this really a big deal, though? Lots of things can happen. The first Senate bill could be "amended," or the conference committee can adopt the House Bill which does include the permanent tax cuts. And, should the tax cuts expire at year's end, how many $$$ are we talking about per tax payer? The media is giving me the impression that these other things (Border, Military, etc. etc.) are Trump's greater financial priorities... not making these tax cuts permanent. I'm not so sure. I can see the Border being a priority, but not all this immediate Military spending. I wonder it the "Military Industrial Complex" is at it again.

Thoughts? And, just out of curiosity, which would you prefer?

1) $5000.00 stimulus check from DOGE savings; or

2) Making the tax cuts permanent.

280 remington 175eldx

Anyone shooting the 175eldx in their 280 or 280ai? Is your 280 throated for bullets this long or are you jamming them way down in the case? I have a few loaded to run over the chronograph. I am shooting them at the charge weight I settled for 185rdfs with 4000mr just to get an idea of velocity. The ones I loaded are with 4000mr but I will be working up with h4831sc or/and 7977 also. I guess I have rl26 also I could try. Mine is throated pretty well for 162s, not so much for really long 7mm bullets but I hate to mess with it because it shoots really well with basically everything I put in it. 139-185 so far, but I am sure I am giving up some velocity with the heavey bullets.

Prefit match barrels with test target?

Are there any makers of prefit matchbarrels in the US that test accuracy before shipping and include test target in the shipment?
Should be no problem for barrels in 308 and 6.5CM.
This practice is quite common in Europe.

This is a test target that came with a Sauer SSG3000 6.5x55 match barrel. 5 shots with Raufoss ammo loaded with Sierra 144gr SMK.
W50330 is serial nr on the barrel:
