Optics SPF

Looking to sell. Zelle preffered but can take usps mo or PayPal ff. If paying with mo, expect delays.

Schmidt and Bender 3-20x50mm PMII. This one is CCW. Locking mtc turrets. Has some scuffs on the turrets and some small marks on the body but glass is clean and functions well. I do not have the rear scope cap but have one of the one hundred concept deals I’ll toss it. Scope comes with an ard.

The mount is not included but I will let it go with at buyers request. It is a 1.5” ARC M brace with 20 moa built in.

$2445 shipped without the mount. If you want the mount add another $270

Would consider trades plus cash for an NX8 2.5-20, XTR Pro, or a Cronus G2 at this time. I haven’t been able to shoot as much as I’d like for awhile and would like to let the S&B go to a good new home.

Which Charge Weight would you pick based on these results?

Working on initial load development for a new rifle. Barrel has a little over 200 rounds down the tube. My current thinking is to run seating depth tests with 41.0 gn and 41.8 gn loads. In a previous test I tested 40.9 and 41.0 loads and the ES/SD results were almost identical to the 41.1 gn load shown here with slightly lower velocities. I didn't have a lot of time yesterday, so I wasn't able to let the barrel cool down as much as I would have liked which likely effected the group sizes in the later groups as the barrel and the can were getting pretty warm. All groups are 5 shots at 100 yards with virtually no wind measured with Ballistic X. All test loads were seated .005 off the lands with Berger LRHT 140s. I'm curious which loads others would choose and why if they are different from the ones I'm planning to use. The extra shots between targets 8 and 9 are sighters. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

And here comes their counterpunch, right on time

Amazing they found a NEW WhuFlu virus “in the wild”?in chinna- and of course it has the potential to be way way more badder than the first token- crank up the money printing machines- break out the voter drop boxes already filled - and tell everyone they love to find more government corruption and waste but they’ve gotta shut everything down and send all the “nonessential “ peons home - for years ! Perfect !

Ruger am77 Markii 30-06 chassis

Hi guys,
I've got an old paddle board Ruger M77 Markii in 30-06 and would like to modernise the chassis.
Just after any ideas from those who have done it or are in the know?
I've looked at Boyds, H&S precision and Bell amd Carlson. Does anybody have any experience with these stocks or any pictures to help envision what the finally product may look like?
Any assistance, ideas, recommendations are appreciated.

Considering a 13.9” upper to go with my 18” 6.5 Grendel.. thoughts?

I recently built an 18” 6.5 Grendel with a NightForce NX8 2.5-20x
IMG_0798.jpeg
I went with the superlative arms piston system, but the BCG is tight in the upper so I may swap it over to DI with a superlative arms adjustable gas black and JP FMOS.
After researching the round more it really seems to be great at everything. So I’m thinking it may be cool to build a 13.9” SBR upper to have superior capabilities compared to my 300blk out and 14.5” AR and far less blast and recoil than my 13” SCAR 17. If I do that it makes total sense to swap the superlative piston to the SBR and I would use a VLTOR MUR upper since the BCG fits perfectly in that upper (my 14.5” AR setup). What I’m really wanting input on is… optic arrangement. While I’d have the 18” upper for long range, the 13.9” should be very capable out to distance. So I was thinking of trying the Steiner T6XI 2.5-15x with an RMR mounted on top. I’ve never used a top mounted or offset RMR, but I’m sure I can train to become accustomed to it. I thought this set up would make more sense than another LPVO. I’ve got a Trijicon Credo 1-6x on my 14.5” AR and a Trijicon Credo HX 1-8x on my SBR SCAR 17. Thoughts?
Use would be run and gun and up to whatever distance the rifle is capable. I’m thinking of trying the Lehigh 110 grain copper solids and the 110 grain controlled chaos.

Precision Rifle Gear Question on RRS Anvil 30 R-lock tension adjustment

Question for those that have used both the older non r-lock Anvil 30 and the new r-lock version...

I have an older non r-lock version right now. The clamp tension on the rail isn't adjustable, but it can compensate for different rails somewhat as there is a wave spring under the nut. The wave spring compresses and can handle a bit of dimensional variability in the rails and still provide adequate clamp force. It works on all the rails I currently have with no issues.

I keep thinking about picking up one of the newer r-lock versions to either replace mine or for a second tripod setup. The new R-lock Anvil 30 has adjustable tension where you can squeeze the clamp in and then adjust the nut for different rail dimensions. My question is does the new version with adjustable clamp tension still have a wave spring under it so it will accept some rail dimension variability without constantly messing with the adjuster nut, or do you have to manually adjust the clamp nut for proper tension on every rail you put it on? I'm hoping it still has a wave spring in it so I don't have to constantly mess with it.

Reloading Equipment Big .30 cal bullet sale

Offloading a bunch of bullets as I never ended up building a 300 WSM and shoot bigger stuff in my 300 NM. All prices are per box and include shipping. I'd greatly prefer to ship a guy multiple boxes, particularly of the 100 ct boxes. We can probably work something out if you want all 500 of a certain type, etc.

If you're so inclined to building a new 30 cal, I do have a 30 cal proof carbon 22" 1:9 blank listed for sale as well as 200 pieces of 300 WSM (Norma) brass.
