What is the thread pitch on the Barrett .30- caliber muzzle device? The outside thread that the Barrett suppressor mounts to?

Figured I'd make my first post being as I am new here. Here is my 22ARC build i just finished spinning the barrel for and finally got some time to mess with the Hornady 75gr ELD Match. Going to mess with the 88gr and see if i can improve on accuracy. This New Empire barrel paired with the area419 brake is a blast to shoot.

I had to rush and put together an NRL build, and the only barrel I could find in stock was the 6.5 Creedmoor.

With more time until next season starts, im building a dedicated NRL rifle, so this barrel needs a new home.

Has anyone ever changed the angle of the standard Rem700 bolt handle? I have a standard Rem700 .223 Ackley that shoots bugholes, but the only problem I have is that when the bolt is in the loaded postion, the bolt knob, and handle basically rest on my indec finger knuckle. I have not bumped it out of battery, or anything like that, it's just annoying.

Has anyone cut and re-welded the handle, bent it, or otehrwise modified one so as not to sit in that postion when loaded. If so how was it done, or who did the work? I am a little leary of doing int myself, as I don't want to ruin it, and I am not a good enough welder to attempt it and make it look nice.

Any ideas would be appreaciated.

I read through the ARC CDG bold handle thread, but it appears to be a completely different bolt.

First, I'm new to bolt rifles. So please go easy on me.. and I appreciate anyone taking the time to share their knowledge.

I am trying to sight in a new rifle for a cold bore, as the immediate use is for hunting. Hopefully some long range in the future. (Bergara HMR Pro - 300 Win Mag/Nightforce NX8 4-32).

My question is to ensure a cold bore, has anyone used a hand-held blower like the wolfbox (picture below) to blow air through a rifle to cool it quickly? I assume this is fine for the metal, as they heat up quickly so they can probably cool quickly as well..?

I am limited to an outdoor public range with 15min on/off Shooting and a 1.5hr time slot.. So every cold shot is critical. Not to mention i may only get there one more time before the season begins.

I have a .30-06 Giraud Tri-Way case trimmer. I have tried to adjust it for 6.5mm-06, but so far, there is either too much internal chamfer with too little external deburring or vice-versa. Is this a trial and error process or does anyone have any suggestions?
