SOLD Burris XTRII 5-25x50, MIL, illuminated SCR Reticle

I picked up a certificate several years back for a new scope directly from Burris, and this is it.
It sat in the box for a long time, then I finally mounted it, but it’s never been out of the house.
Like new, functions as it should, won’t ship with a battery for illumination.
Original box included, with the sunshade. No other documents or accessories.

$OLD PM me first, I will not PM you… Anyone else is a a scammer.

Rifle Scopes New hunting scope

Hey yall, looking for other input on a new optic going on a woods deer rifle. This will be going on a straight wall cartridge so max range out to 250y. I'm looking at lower magnification ranges 2-10 or 3-9 SFP. I've looked at many different options but seems like the "dedicated" hunting scopes are mostly 1in tubes. It's not mandatory but ideally I'd like to have a 30mm tube for better lighting. Statistically, most of my shots will be at first/last light. Illumination is not mandatory but would be nice, I feel that reticle selection is more important.

I've kind of narrowed it down to:
Trijicon Huron 2.5-10x40
Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40
Leupold VX5-HD 2-10x42

What else should I look at?

Accessories Seekonk 3/8 T handle torque wrench

I purchased it a while back and was going to use it for my XM3 kit but realized it was the incorrect one. I believe this one is what they considered a ratcheting model. It is 3/8 and I do not remember what it was set for. I know you can send it back and have it adjusted to what inch pound you want.

Looking for $50 shipped to lower 48

Thats just awful!

Mich. Middle School student that refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance told to go back to her own country by her teacher.

Now listen to the teacher and go back to your own country, you hairy POS. And try not to stab anybody on the way out.

Short Carbon Fiber Barrels

Looking at 16"-16.5" Carbon Fiber Barrel for Creedmoor (6 or 6.5). Had Proof CF before - 22"-24" length. Looking at Bartlein vs Proof.
Seems Bartlein offers the 400 Mod BB and the Gain Twist Option as well as ability to specify profile. Not sure those are strong advantages over Proof? Seems Proof has seen some military use. Any experience in the real world of how they perform? Any pros/cons? Thank you.

Well they violated his rights

And make up a law and an ordinance to stop him from engaging in constitutionally protected activities/ speech. And issue an illegal trespassing order and surrounding him with goons and threatening violence and arrest him- BUT months later they did mail him an apology so ALL IS GOOD!

It must be easy to enforce the law when you can just make them up on the spot .

Firearms WTS Arsenal SA M-5 5.56 Milled AK

Looking to sell a SA M-5 5.56 Arsenal rifle. This is not one of the Circle ((10)) offerings that had issues. The rifle is awesome and I love it, but I need money elsewhere. This rifle is a clone of the bulgarian military spec AR M-9 rifle.

low round count, like 300 rounds or so. It’s in good condition, I can take more pics if you are interested.

Lewman Arms did all of the work.

I have had this work done to the rifle:

- Bulgarian 24mm FSB installed

- AR M-9 furniture installed

- Correct bulgarian ambi pistol grip safety and pistol grip installed

Will include one 30rd black Circle ((10)) magazine. with the sale for now 2100 shipped

I have more mags available for purchase and will let them go for $42 per to the buyer of the rifle if they are interested.

I am not interested in any trades unless you have a ZCO 420 MPCT3X, AI m27 barrel in 6.5cm carbon fiber or steel, AI ATX Magazines, Vortex Viper 20-60x with mrad reticle, Trijicon SRO/RMR HD 1MOA

Would also be interested in a 4-16x ATACR mil-xt

22 Rifle lands / compare discussion, significant differences

The bore shots are labeled by the MFG below. Its interesting to see the differences in design, finish. All 3 were fired 1 day prior, Bore snaked only to clean.

CZ 457 - Clean defined edges on lands and bore is super smooth.
Volquartzen (VM-22) - still fairly defined, definitely the shiniest finish. I can't turn the borescope brightness down any further. The finish is like a mirror.
Vudoo - Notice the lands at the chamber are beveled about twice the length. Bore is not as bright but maybe the bore snake didn't clean as well.

The differences are pronounced in land / bore construction. There looks to be slightly different size lands too. All 3 for these shoot sub-moa at 50, It's sometimes a close tie on grouping but Vudoo always wins. They all have cold bore POI difference. Volq and CZ shoot very similar using the same ammo. I shoot SK Rifle match or Lapua Center-X. Vudoo loves X but SK shoots almost as good, just more flyers when X has hardly and or certainly much less. That's a bit of background on her rifles.

Just thought it would be interesting to show the differences, at least here's a reference. Perhaps we can build this thread with other 22LR similar bore shots. I would like to see a Anschutz, KIDD, RimX, Bergara, Tikka etc and other rifles, mostly used in matches.

How are things at MPA?

I ordered a Vanquish the first week of Feb 2025. In the past, I received the build sheet within a couple of weeks of placing the order. For this order - nothing yet. I asked about the build sheet in Late Feb, and was told:
"You will receive it by the end of the week at the latest. (( OP:End of the week would have been Feb))
We have had some key members out sick this month and are a bit behind. Your order date will stay the same so this has not delayed the process time I promise".
Nothing yet. I'm still inclined to believe the "Your order date will stay the same". Just wondering. Every now and then one will pop up for sale. I'm wondering if I should just cancel the order, buy used. At the end of the day, I'm not sweating either way. Just curious.
