Can we talk shooting technique?

My ARs are set up to be more precision oriented (mid range scopes opposed to LPVO/Red dot) and I'd say that I am an avg (maybe a lil better than avg) bench shooter and just an average shooter off a tripod and bag (which I find much more enjoyable) so I'd really like to improve

Whether you shoot off a tripod/bag, front bag, bipod, whatever. I am curious what your technique is like....in terms of a few things.

What is your non trigger hand focused on?
I've seen people.....grip the handguard and pinch the bag, hold the top of the scope, put it on top of the stock in front of their face, just hold the handguard, hold the tripod/bipod leg, etc.

And with that hand....what is your focus?
Balance the rifle? Pull the rifle into you? Push the rifle downward?

Your shooting hand....do you
Use a normal pistol grip? Precision-style grip (thumb on same side)? Put any pressure on the grip at all? Inward/downward?

Some of these things seem silly, but I have seen them all done....and even taught.

Just curious what you fine shooters do.

Night Vision N-Vision Clip On Thermal ?

This may be old news and already hashed out.
If so, advise link to current thread and I will delete this.

Is this thermal clip-on new or is it just an existing HALO / NOX family device stuck in front of a day optic?

If new, is there anyone here with any hands-on experience and feedback?

For the techno nerd, does the limited info listed sound good?

Manners night stalker

I have a manners night stalker stock, a pure precision SKLTN action and I’m waiting on a preferred barrel blanks carbon barrel. It’s going to be chambered in 6CM and used for coyote hunting at night mostly. I’m looking for advice on which m5 bottom metal and a trigger to go with? The mdt bottom metal has my interest, what are your thoughts on that?
Thanks,

Suppressors First Suppressor - PTR

Ok, so I’m completely ignorant when it comes to suppressors. I started doing some research but there’s a LOT to take in. I hunt and shoot at night a lot so they’ll be used in a variety of scenarios.

Thinking of buying my first suppressors and looking at a PTR Spiritus for my 5.56 and a Vent 1 for my .308 / 300BO and 300 Legend.

From what I’ve seen, these have some of the best sound suppression on the market and decently low back pressure.

Any downfall to PTR cans?

I’m still trying to figure out if I want to direct thread or have an adapter.

Any insights are appreciated.
