Long time lurker, have come across this forum many times in my many hours of (window shopping) googling looking for information for builds.
Well bought a new rifle finally and thought I'd actually join and learn the from some of the best.
Built this for a nephew and now he wants to just get a legend barrel for his LMT. Less that 150 rounds on it, never shot groups because we just zeroed it with the T1 and sent him in the woods due to limited ammo at the time. No optic or carrier, just upper with the bolt. Receiver is a new BCM and everything else is Wilson Combat. $675 shipped OBO
Been reading about the C&H Mercury recoil reducer and just wondering has anyone tried it and does it really work? Sounds like an easy way to tame my 30 06 for my grandson. All comments are welcome, thanks.
I am a 75 year old individualists and live in the fasious state by Pacific. I have never been a crowd follower and never cared what was in style, always wore what was comfy,(drove my first wife nuts) I don't do white vehicles or ARs because everyone else has one, nothing wrong with them they're just not me. Look forward to talking to you all and thanks for having me.
I am selling my Schmidt & Bender 1-8x24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC W/ Geissele Mount as I dont use it as much as Ithouhgt I would. The scope has bout 100 rounds on it.
I know it's an older optic, and is underneath their top of the line, but is this still a good scope, compared to the other cheaper options out there like say the Cronus, gen2/3 Razors, Zeiss LRP3s, Theoses, DNT etc etc ? Has the new budget optics caught up to the older Nightforces?
I have a ZCO 840 with a MPCT3X reticle. I have really enjoyed this optic. My eye's aren't what they used to be. It's harder for me to pick up the dot. What are some other choices similar magnification and clarity with a larger dot. Again, I can't say enough about ZCO except make a larger reticle option for us older guys.
