Just thought I'd ask about what folks have hanging in their house. I'd be the first to admit that I don't know much about it other than the mandatory classes in HS & College I had to take.

We're now at the point where we're starting to hang things on our walls that aren't pictures of ourselves and thus far have settled on two pieces from the same artist which are below:









I can't intellectually say why I liked these particular pieces but I did/do and that's where I'm at.

Anyone here know a thing or two about art and/or want to share some pieces that they enjoy/may have hanging in their home?

Anyone hunting with the S3 4-25? Im building a new coyote rifle (18” 22 GT, McMillan stock) rifle should be about 10lbs-ish.

Trying to decide on a scope in the $1500 range and I do see the S3’s available used in that range. Or is it worth instead trying to find a used S5 3-18 in the $2000 range?

I made my list of scopes I’m considering and of course intrigued by the heaviest and most expensive scope on my list (the Zeiss).

FWIW others I’m considering are the Burris XTR3 3-18 and the Leup Mk4 4.5-18. I would expect the Zeiss to be superior to both but would love to hear from people who are hunting with it.

I’ve just joined the forum and I'm seeking some feedback on my latest build. I got a lot of ideas from viewing posts here so I thought I'd make an account and see what people thought of my own build.

Originally I really wanted to build a M24/M24A2 but as parts are becoming increasingly scarce, and next to impossible to source where I am, I opted for something that looks similar but was far more practical.

I was going for a Remington 700 Police look, with a different chambering and barrel length to better suit my needs.

The rifle is primarily for pest control, and built to be able to get in and out of vehicles without hassle.

I’m using Federal Premium 69gr BTHP in it at the moment, which I am aware is far from ideal for killing things, but I assure you when I hit them the head, the varmints that I am aiming at cannot tell you the difference.

The entire rifle is built upon a Remington 700 SPS Tactical 16.5” .223 1-8 barreled action, and the parts list is as follows:

Looking for a stamped or raised "C" Colt upper receiver.
Rifle is a 2009 inspired build. So stuff previous to that, like C + AF, C + cerro, C + square are all good. (Lemme know if there's others, I'm a noob).
Would prefer if it has FA + dust cover installed, and if it doesn't look like it went through a washing machine with rocks

Wanting to trade a 6mm barrel blank I have, and looking for a rimfire barrel blank. Ideally one of the main brands in a heavy contour; benchmark, shilen, muellerworks, bartlein, etc.

Looking to have a stainless barrel coated to match an action that will have a few barrels I’ll swap occasionally. How well does cerakote hold up under the clamping force of a barrel vise? More specifically the viper barrel vise.

I have been out out of the reloading game for 20+ years at this point. I ordered a Area 419 7/8 press, some Bullet Central precision dies, a Inguity Precision measure with the A&D 300 FXi scale(pre-order), some N570 and H100 for my 300 PRC, as well as some Berger 208 and 210 hunting rounds, a K&M neck turner, a Henderson Gen 3 case trimmer, as well as a handful of other things.

I have a Terminus Kratos Lite action on order, a Proof 22" barrel and plan to run the PTR Vent 1 suppressor. I have a Diamond Pro trigger, and a MDT HNT26 chassis in hand. I have some CCI 250 mag primers as I could not find any 215M.

I plan to set the rifle up for long range hunting, but would like to ring steel at distance as well. I don't have everything in hand quite yet, but looking forward to the build. I'm enjoying reading about other's 300 PRC loads and look forward to putting this rifle to the test in the near future.

Fuzion SA RH 308 bolt face. Has 2250 rds through it. Normal wear from use. Gunsmith lapped the lugs a little so I wouldn’t recommend using it with a prefit barrel. $SOLD

Has anyone experienced any issues with their rh25 v2?
Currently my symptoms are:

Buttons do not work (minus it will turn on)
No menu or hud display
It also does not auto rotate the image

The image is still fantastic albeit would be better if I had access to settings.

I haven't been able to find a single post, video or discussion anywhere on the web about V2 issues.

Anyone had ignition issues with this lot of CCI 450’s? I had 3 rounds not go off during a match a few weeks back. Two of the three rounds went off on the second attempt. They are seated .005” deep in Alpha Brass. Never had an issue with this rifle until this new lot of primers. I’m going to try my spare bolt next time I go out to the range.

Used this a little and recently upgraded calls. Everything works like it should. I did add a power port because carrying 8AA batteries was a pain in the ass. Plus side is now you can use a 12V battery pack or a Milwaukee battery to power this thing for hours on hours. Power port isn't hard wired in, it attaches to the factory plug. So if you like the inconvenience of AA batteries, you can go back and forth.
