This is lightly used, only 15 rounds of 308 win on a single range trip. I got it to replace a brake I thought I lost but ended up finding so I no longer need it. Really nice brake and craftsmanship.

I haven't shot my new AI AXSR in 300 Norma Magnum yet and looked down the barrel to see what a new and what I thought would be a pristine barrel looks like. These pictures appear to show carbon, copper and debris in the barrel. I certainly understand the advice clean your barrel before shooting it.

However, is this what a new barrel should look like which has never been fired by me (first owner)?

24”, 8 twist l, proof carbon wrapped sendero contour barrel chambered in 6.5 PRC. Had it on a bat igniter action. 200 rounds shot through the barrel. It shot 5 shot 1/2 MOA groups with hand loads and Norma 143 ammo. I have 140 or so pieces of Lapua brass and Norma that will go with the barrel.

Been a long time lurker. Finally registered. Enjoy target shooting. Been reloading over 10 years. After years of inexpensive bolt actions, stepped up to a seeking HAVAK HIT, not the pro. I’m a 308 nut. Bolt actions and AR’s. Just jumped in a Ruger LC 10mm. Interesting AR. Wasn’t really interested in pistol carbines but when 10mm was introduced, got one to go along with my RIA 10mm. Bought this from The Horta so it comes from a vetted source..I bought multiple mounts for it, absolutely no issues with it, also comes with the 16650 battery adapter - $750.. never loses zero or any issues on multiple chassis. I do also have a helmet mount for it but it's stored somewhere and just tried it to see if it worked as a helmet rig.

Not listing it with the helmet mount as hunting it down might be a deal so we can talk about it if buyer is interested.

Hello all, I shoot just about everything from pistols, rifles and shotgun. Everything I own is modern, and with the exception of a Perazzi I keep as a safe-queen, everything gets shot.

Been reloading some forty plus years and moved into precision hand loading ten or fifteen years ago. (Which means most of my equipment just got more expensive). I enjoy the handloading part so much that I tend to buy new rifles, set them up the way I want them and spend a lot of time and effort on load development; once I think I've done my part, knowing the rifle can still probably shoot better than me, I go and buy a new rifle and start all over again.

In the past two years I’ve gotten hooked on the 6.5 Creedmoor. Funny that it started with a Gen 1 Ruger Precision Rifle, next the Savage 110 Elite Precision, and an Aero Precision Solus Competition and darned if I didn’t just buy a new Gen 2 RPR – All in 6.5CM. Next on the list, if my research pans out is a MasterPiece Arms PMR 6.5 CM.

I’m a veteran, started my career in Mechanical Engineering, returned to school for a Masters in Computer Science and retired in 2020. I belong to two private ranges, only one has a 1,000 yard target. Most of my shooting is on BLM land an hour and half away, but I go there every other Sunday – weather permitting.
