I planning on picking up a thermal clip on in the next few months.

I’ve been looking at the RH25v2. I see that used UTM-X are selling for not much more than the Infiray.

Does anyone have time behind both of these? How do they compare? Or do they?

I’m concerned mostly with IQ and detection range. Which one supports more mag?

Any other factors to consider to help make the choice?

I’m aware that the UTM is 10 years old and has no warranty support, but maybe it’s less likely to need it?

I was looking into optics options for the barrels from the Armalite Deals thread and noticed this (obvious) glitch on Optic Planet's website.

This same scope is no less than $249.99 anywhere else (namely, Natchez SS).

Obviously $83.99 is a pricing error. Obviously this order will never be fulfilled, right?

I know many have Optics Planet horror stories. They've never done me dirty, and they don't actually charge your account until the item ships. Oh, and it let me use a discount code.

Own an 338 RPR since 2019. Over 1200 rounds thru it, accuracy still sub MOA however I am waiting for the barrel's final demise. I see LRI offers a barrel and the recommended tool. Anyone else? Patriot Valley Arms makes a prefit but the RPR receiver is not configurable (AI, SAVAGE among others are available.

My preference is to perform the swap. Already familiar with AI AE and AT.

I have a handful of ARs, but looking for which of my two suppressors to put on a .300 Blackout 8.5 inch. I have a TBAC Magnus I run on my bolt guns, and a Huxwrx Flow 7.62 TI that I run on my ARs. However, I have an 8.5 inch AR pistol with a brace/JP captured buffer and adjustable gas block and I’m not sure what to run. It seems the hux may not perform as well with subsonics, so I’m wondering whether I should throw the Magnus on and adjust the gas down.

I could experiment a bit, but figured I’d come to folks with more experience. Rig has a 1x red dot and would just be mostly plinking and some transition drills.

Hey guys. I have an Sig Cross and waiting for a new comp profile 308 barrel from Straight Jacket Armory. I am building a steady hunting rifle. I say that because length plays into the equation but weight does not. So the barrel will be 18” long. I have a young son who shot that rifle last deer season in Federal 6.5 creed amd he did well with it. I was wondering, how slow can I safely shoot 308 ammo. I know he won’t shoot over 250 yards and would like to find something lower recoil for him. Looking at MV only, 2,300fps works all the way out to 400 yards.

Criterium 6GT barrel (brand new) with Area 419 Hellfire brake is properly torqued and headspaced using an NSS stainless barrel nut and squared lug.

The buttstock is a B5 systems PRS stock adjustable for length and height and is attached to the chassis with an XLR folding adapter.

Selling a lightly used Tenmile. Was used for about 200 rounds at the range and shooting steel. The only marks I can find are on the objective side of the turrets a tiny bit of thread locker leaked from the ring. It’s hard to capture in pics but I can text/email more if anybody wants. As much as I like these scopes the reticle just isn’t my jam. Comes with the box and everything a new one would.
