Suppressors Will suppressor impact the POI?

Hello Guys,

I have a Sandman L and when I use it with my rifle my grouping became worse from 1-2MOA to 5-6MOA. My gunsmith do not see any baffle strike.
Without the suppressor it went to 1-2MOA.

Today I use my HuxWrx Flow on the same rifle , ammo , distance and firing range my grouping was 1-2MOA

What could be the problem with the Sandman L?

300 BLK Build help

Recently began considering doing a 300 blackout build. My criteria is quiet and accurate to 100 yards. Pretty simple right? lol. I always wrote the 300 BO off as a fad and didn’t get it but a dedicated subsonic rig seems like the solution for what I’m looking for. The reason is I live in a neighborhood but we have lots that are 2 to 3 acres and we are surrounded by farm land. Recently some coyotes have been seen and actually killed a neighbors little yip yip dog. So I’m looking for something to use on them hence it has to be quiet. The neighbors actually requested I take them out, but I don’t want anyone to know when I actually do lol. I have a spare AR lower so I have the option to build one in that platform or I was thinking a Howa Mini bolt gun. Any thoughts or suggestions? Still haven’t decided what can to go with either. I also thought about getting a big bore PCP air rifle but not sure.

March bendy spotter

March showing of a new spotting scope of sorts at Extreme Shot Italia V. 4-12 OCT 2025 , kinda king of two miles without 2 miles

The 2026 model March Tracking Scope is attracting a lot of attention @Extreme Shot Italia V. 4-12 OCT. Thanks to its gimbal system, it can move 26 degrees in any direction within a full 360-degree range, allowing shooters to easily locate targets with slight movements of the scope. You can choose between a reticle or no reticle, and when a reticle is included, it can be matched with the same reticle design as the scope. It’s lightweight and easy to carry.
*Picture is the production model. The specifications are based on the prototype and may change. For production model, MTR-WTD SFP, FML-WTD FFP especially designed for the tracking scope and FML-WTB FFP a variant of FML-WBR in 5-42x56genll PRS edition will also be available. Orders will be accepted starting from the IWA exhibition in March, 2026.

The new Tracking scope 8-80X56 SFP will be available without a reticle, or with any of the existing Majesta reticles. The 6-60X56 FFP Tracking scope will be available without a reticle of with the existing FML-WBR reticle, and the new FML-WTB reticle. So, if you want the same reticle in your riflescope to be in the corresponding Tracking Scope, you got it. The FML-WTB, is a brilliant concept where the full FML-WBR reticle is pushed down in the view to provide a more uncluttered view.
There are two new reticles for the Tracking Scopes, one for the 8-80X56 SFP, the MTR-WTD, and one for the 6-60X56 FFP, the FML-WTD. These reticles bring in some new concepts aimed at observing and tracking the shots, rather than aiming the shots.
The MTR-WTD is intended for wind coaches in team matches, or for the individual competitor to help gauge the wind. The reticle is an amalgam of three concepts; there is a Trace Zone to help measure the trace of the bullet. There is the Splash Zone with concentric circles to measure the offset of the impact, if needed. And finally, there is a Sawtooth Mirage Gauge intended to help gauge the amplitude and direction of the mirage river. More details soon.
The FML-WTD is a first focal plane reticle that has an extended Trace Zone, and a Splash zone with concentric rings. The Trace Zone extends 20MIL at 6X, and can be incremented by 5MIL, up to 30MIL, thus providing 50MIL of elevation to measure trace. A special app is available to calculate the apex of the trajectory for the specified load, conditions and distance to target. The app also calculates the elevation needed to get to the target. By knowing the expected apex of the trace, one can aim the 6-60X56 FFP Tracking Scope at the target and just observe the trace and see how high it gets and compare the observation to the expected results. Again, more details soon.

Finding ideal powder charge (.284win)

I got a used rifle with 1500 or so rounds on it. I wanted to figure out the load for the components I have and this is what I did:

Loaded some rounds with 0.3gr increment (1 for each) and chronoed it while looking at the vertical dispersion. What I got is this:

The vertical dispersion for these looks acceptable but the velocities aren't ideal.
Where the velocities are ideal, the vertical dispersion isn't great.

Components:
Lapua 6.5 284 necked to 7mm
CCI 200
4831sc
32" barrel

I haven't looked at the seating depth at all, that will be my next step once I figure out what powder charge to test with.

Based on the attached images, is there a charge I should go with, test further with? I am unsure if I should be looking at the vertical dispersion only or the consistent velocity only for 2 or 3 charges. The 2 aren't consistent for 2 or 3 charges, only 1 or the other.

Thank you
