Stainless tikka action, 5/8-24 threaded carbon6 carbon fiber barrel 1:8 24”, mdt tikka xm magazine bottom metal (ideal length for 284 win based rounds), McMillan carbon fiber game warden lr, area 419 pic rail in front, Sphur tikka dovetail hunter style one piece mount. Swept threaded bolt handle and dumbbell style knob. The stock also accepts ctr bottom metal. Asking $2100. My cost was a little more than $2750. I just tend to shoot my lone peak medium more in a similar set up.

I have 2 of the Remington 700 jeweled bolt stainless actions (both now proudly sporting PVA barrels. I noticed on the rear of one some very light, what I would call 'browning, or pre rust', like a very light discoloration to the finish. I'm wondering if there is a cure for that. Since @bohem is the metal man, perhaps he could chirp in. Mine is like the one below but not nearly as bad, just a small dime sized spot that you wouldnt notice if you werent looking. I was considering buying the one below but this has me a bit concerned. Is there a way to clean it up.
