I have the DMR in 6 arc with 22" barrel. I want to go shorter for suppressor use. Should I have the barrel cut down or go with a new barrel. I don't hear much on the quality of seekins barrels but this one seems to shoot factory ammo well.

I have been gone for a good while, I got signed in and the screen/site seems to be in a "dark" mode ? Any way to change what I am seeing ?

I'm looking for a 1-8 or preferably 1-10 illumated reticle scope for a 9" 450 bushmaster AR... right now I'm running a Leupold VX6 1-6 with the firedot reticle but I'd like more magnification.
I do want a daylight bright illuminated reticle like red dot bright.
Kind of thinking about an NX8 1-8 or maybe Credo 1-10 but I haven't seen either 1st hand to compare illumination or glass quality. Anyone have any experience with these two, especially side by side comparison? Or am I missing any other options in that same price range with super bright illumination?
Ive got discount certs for Apex, Athlon, Burris, Zeiss, and Vortex that I could use if it's a good option and keeps me in that price range or lower.
I really dont want to spend Gen 3 razor or ATACR money, I mean there's really nothing wrong with the VX6 I'm running now, Id just like more magnification than 6x

If you are hunting coyote or anything at night, this is what you want...

Thermal scopes are great for shooting, not so much for scanning. Typically in a night hunt, you spend hours scanning for game and just a few second mounted on the gun. Having just one eye in use is a recipe for eye fatigue. Using binox to scan and NV to shoot, you can easily spot the target as it comes in and use the NV to identify and validate what you are seeing. This set has about 20 hours on it and runs strong. It has been invaluable both for hog hunting and finding lost animals at night. Has laser range finder and is a 384x288 chipset. Has Bluetooth so you can stream the image to a tablet for better view. Wifi capable. Memory card for recording images and video included...
