I realize the windage adjustments needed when zeroing a rifle are dependent on the manufacturing tolerances of the rifle, scope base, and scope. Assuming the scope is optically centered from the factory, it’s basically how well the bore centerline is matched up with the scope mounting system. I just sighted in my Seekins PH2 in 7 PRC. Shoots well. Once sighted I had a 3 shot group at 0.35” at 100 yards. I didn’t bore sight the scope (no prior scope adjustments) but it was 8.5” right at 100 yards. That’s about 8.5 MOA. Once zeroed I don’t guess it matters. I have a Nightforce scope, Seekins 20MOA base with 5, #8 screws attaching the base to the action. I used some Burris XTR tactical rings I had from a previous rifle. Last year I sighted in a Seekins SP10, Nightforce scope, Seekins rings attached directly to the Picatinny rail machined into the upper. That configuration was only 3/4” off center. Is the 8.5” windage adjustment excessive? What do people typically see?

Hello all. Im relatively new to bolt action rifles (mostly a precision gasser) but wanting to dabble in bolt actions.

Wife has an older Savage 110 7mm rem mag she used for hunting but hasnt shot it in atleast 12+ years. I was looking to change it up some and thought about going to 7mm prc. My question is, without making this some over the top build, what's all needed for the conversation?

I figured a nice chassis wouldn't hurt (maybe in the $500ish range...maybe a MDT LSS-LX). I'd prefer to spend the money on a quality barrel (criterion). I just don't know what twist is best for 7mm prc. also, would the bolt face need to be swapped? I'm sure I'll have to swap to a magazine base as well but that will depend on the chassis.

Also, what is needed to convert it from an internal magazine (blind mag) to a box fed? Just swap out the bottom metal?

My goal with this rifle is a solid longer range (1200-1500 yards) rifle without trying to break the bank.

Kinda just a hodge podge of Rimfire Targets I used at the house for practice but have since quit rimfire all together and cleaning some stuff out......1st is from JC Steel is the KYL Racks with 2 racks and 4 Targets (1/4", 1/2" 3/4" and 1") all break down to small package also from JC is 2 double Hangers with a 1", 2- 2", 2 1/2" 3" targets and then 4 A&J spikes and single holders with a 5 and 6" circles and the a 4 and 6 inch square .......figured up new would be 300 bucks or so will sell for 170 shipped (basically half price and then 20 bucks to ship)

I'm beginning to think Areo has gone dark ,as in out of business or something has happened to my order , I ordered a stag 308 upper and lower back on Nov 14th ,still no shipping notice , ordered a magpul moe rifle stock at the same time and a matching handguard , the stock showed up about 10 days after ordering ,but the other items ,nothing and it's been over 30 days , calls to CS o go straight to ," no one is available to take your call recording , anyone else having problems with Areo ?

I have a few thousand once fired .204 R brass. Some is as it came from suppressed AR and some is cleaned, sized and primed. 50C untouched and each and 65C for primed brass shipped.

Has anyone tried to see if AW skins can be used on an AT? Granted AT's sling attachment nod needs to be removed (or a hole drilled on the skin).

Selling a new/unfired Tisas Night Stalker DS 9mm

I just picked this gun up last week and I love the feel of it. Barrel is tight at lock up, Frame is about as tight as my MPA DS9 and tighter than my Kimber TLE II, so I have no complaints about it. Trigger is good with little to no creep after take up. I bought this gun before I realized that the Tisas Duty DS was optics ready. The Duty is the model that I really wanted (I want black color and the front slide serrations), so I'm selling this at a loss to try and move it. This comes with the original box and accessories as well as two - 17rd Magazines. Don't try and buy this if you can't have those in your state.
