Basic Reloading/Round Workup Direction

Just starting to reload my own bullets. After some newbie bumps and bruises, I'm finally getting into a groove preparing my brass so that they are all consistent. Now I need to make a load for my rifle. 6.5 Creedmoor, Outlier 26" barrel.

What is my goal of working up different rounds? Say I have 50 rounds worked up, 5 shots with each charge, I go out and shoot and chronograph them, am I only concerned about ES and SD to begin with, or do you factor in where they are hitting on the target as well? For example, if I have a load that produces a 9FPS ES and 4 FPS SD, but shoots 1.4 MOA at 100 yards and another load that shoots 20 FPS ES and 10 SD but shoots .4 MOA, which one do I work with? Do I go with the best SD and then start playing with seating depth?

Any advice on the process would be appreciated

First Build Questions: B14/Bravo - Mags, Bipod?

Building my first ever LR oriented rifle, which I will primarily use for hunting. I do want to take some LR intro courses and see where that goes mainly to develop a solid foundation and understanding.

So far here's what I have:
- Bergara B14 Ridge SP 18" 6.5CM
- KRG Bravo Chassis
- Talley 20 MOA Pic Rail
- Vortex Viper HD 3-15X with NF low rings

I'll be pulling my Omega 300 from another rifle to run on this when I use it, hence the 18". Hunting will be probably 300yd and in on White Tail.

Curious what mags to go with, and if the magpul bipod is a decent option? I will keep it off most of the time, I think and just utilize the stud in the KRG unless that is a bad idea. Can't seem to get good info on mags.

Anything else I am forgetting or should focus on? I plan to research rounds but planning to buy off the shelf for the foreseeable future. Appreciate any input

AR-15 Ranking

I have enough time to save up for a "high-end" AR before the IL AWB gets overturned. Can't decide on which one but here's a list based on my personal ranking:

1. KAC SR-15
2. LMT MARS-L
3. JP-15 Professional
4. LaRue PredatOBR
5. DDM4 V9

Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't want to get into custom build bc I do not have the space or resources to work on it (open to suggestions as most of you here are very experienced).

Trump can fire anybody he wants, thanks to Sean Spicer.

President-elect Donald Trump is arriving at the White House armed with a legal weapon that will let him fire any of President Joe Biden’s appointees.

Thanks in part to a court fight former Trump White House spokesman Sean Spicer lost over his firing by Biden from a three-year term to the Board of Visitors to the United States Naval Academy, the incoming president will have the legal backing to dump any of Biden’s over 4,000 appointments who try to stick around.
And the best part, Spicer told Secrets, “They’ll have no one to blame but Biden himself.”

The case dates to Sept. 8, 2021, when Biden began to fire Trump allies from the visitor boards at the academies of the Navy, the Air Force, and the Army.

Spicer and others, including Russ Vought (just picked by Trump to head the Office of Management and Budget) and former Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway, were unceremoniously dumped despite several of them having time left on their three-year terms.

Spicer and Vought sued, saying that unlike White House staff or others appointed by a prior president, they couldn’t be fired because of their congressionally mandated terms.

They lost, however, when a judge essentially ruled that the president could fire any presidential appointee, whether they had terms or not. A further effort failed, too.

Spicer said that is exactly what he hoped the courts would do because he wanted to help a future Trump presidency fire Biden’s picks without having its hands tied.

“What no one ever understood was this was not about actually getting back on the board, because my term had been expired for months. It was forcing them to argue in the affirmative that they had the ultimate authority to fire anybody at any time, which they did. And the court accepted that. So the Biden administration is now on record in court, and the court agreed that the president had absolute authority to fire anyone he wants,” Spicer said in an interview.

“The whole point is now, on day one, President Trump can go in and fire everyone and say it was the Biden folks who told us that we could do this,” he said of aiding White House executives who seek to hire the loyal team that Trump wants.

Can't decide which scope/rifle combo I have makes the most sense

Yet another question...I'm going down the rabbit hole as of late and would appreciate your perspectives.

I have two rifles and two scopes...and I'm weighing which scope makes the most sense for the rifles in question. Neither will be used for hunting. Both for shooting paper and steel. So here goes...

Rifle #1: LMT MWS, SSR-E trigger, 20" Stainless 6.5CM
-Gets 2592 fps with 147 ELD-M. Subsonic at about 1400 yards
-Historically a 1 MOA gun with the .308 barrel. Don't have enough time behind the 6.5CM to say, but certainly no worse.
-Used to wear an early USO 1.8-10x42 FFP Mil illuminated. Heavy, but low profile. Now mounted on a 20" M40ish .308 build but could always slap it back on and put the NXS on the M40 thing.

Rifle #2: Tikka T3X TACT A1, 24" Stainless .308
-No velocities recorded yet, but probably 2650 fps with 175 SMK. Subsonic at about 1025 yards.
-Printed a 5 shot .57" group with 168 SMK, but first and only time behind the rifle.
-First outing it wore a NXS 3.5-15x50.

Scope #1: Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50, MOAR, SFP

Scope #2: Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56, MOAR, SFP

Given the effective ranges of the particular cartridges, the physical size/weight of the two platforms and the two scopes (to include height over rail), magnification range and any other variables I'm not considering...which scope would you mount to which rifle and why?
