Just got a JP LRI-20 in 6.5 Creedmoor. I’m used to reloading pressure signs for my bolt guns, but it’s the first gas gun I’m going to reload for. I Put about 200 rounds of factory Hornady ELDM 140gr through it and most of them came out with ejector marks.

1) I wouldn’t run my bolt guns with this load if I saw this. Would you say this means it’s over pressure and should I stop if I see this when I start to reload…or are gas guns harder on brass than bolt guns?

2) can I use the cases with the deflector marks and damage on the neck? They pretty much all have it and look like this. I have another 300 rounds I was hoping to use the brass on once fired.

Not sure if there’s a thread for it. But just picked up a bambulabs PS1 3d printer. Looking for some cool firearm/reloading/workbench etc stuff to make. What have you all made with yours?

So i was happily loading some .308 with a balance scale and i started thinking. How accurate is accurate???
I got out a cheap digital scale. I weighed the same load 10 times to be sure the scale would give me the same result every time. It did. I went through 75 case to find 10 within .2 grn of each other. Then the same with 100 bullets to get 10 within .1grn +/- 164.9 to 165grn
Next i weighed each charge on the digi scale to within a few roach droppings of 40.5grn my hope is that these 10 will group significantly tighter than the rest of the 90 bullets that only get the powder weighed. And the bullets are .5grn+/- the case are 1.0grn +/- all the cases and bullets were from a single batch from the mfg. Ill get back to yall.

I have a Protech Rockeye Operator in great condition. This is the CPM D2 version. The knife has been carried a few times and there are a few small nicks on a couple corners and a couple handling marks along the aluminum. Nothing major and the blade was never used. See pics. The blade has the sharp factory edge and is free of any marks. Fires like a rocket as you can expect from Protech. Comes in the factory box with the pouch.

WW2 German G43 DUV 44 with original ZF4 3 post , original sling , this rifle is all matched including lumber , never seen any bubba'ery , no import marks , matching right to the bolt lugs ,original patina , mirror bore ive had it for what must be 30+ years now , recently found out it was never previously documented by the folks at the k98k forum , which makes sense , ive had it since before the internet and cell phones were a thing , they had a documented rifle that was 4 digits off from mine , i believe it was 4 rifles newer so probably ended up in the same crate from the factory, the scope is original , the mount is a very early repro very well made and correct , one of these days will find a original that is priced right

I'm wanting a 6.5cm chamber, that has a slightly shorter free bore than the typical saami spec reamers out there. Do I have to order a custom reamer, or does the smith just not plunge the reamer in so deep to get that shorter freebore. Anyone know?
