SOLD Sold: Innorel RT90C tripod with MidwestOffroad Anvil 30 adapter plate

All sold 3/23

Changing up my tripod setup around and have some stuff for sale.

First Up: RRS Anvil 30 (has Rev D engraved on the bottom, I believe this was the latest version RRS released before the RRS-lock Anvil 30 ARC-- this Anvil 30 does not have the RRS-lock pin.) A few light rub marks on the anodizing on the ARCA clamp portion where your ARCA rail would sit (no bare aluminum is visible, but you can see light scuffing) but otherwise in excellent shape.

Anvil 30 Sold 3/8

Next up: a very good condition Innorel RT90C tripod with a MidwestOffroad adapter plate for an RRS Anvil 30 4 bolt mounting interface (will also work with the leofoto MA30 / MA30L Anvil 30 clone.) I’ve used this tripod with the above RRS Anvil 30 for a few years now. A couple light scuff marks on the anodizing of a couple of the lower leg twist locks from use where they rubbed together while carrying the tripod, but otherwise in very good condition.

Includes carrying bag, spike feet, leveling bowl adapter, and regular 3/8” center screw adapter plate with weight hook.

Asking $675 for the Innorel Tripod, midwestoffroad adapter, and Anvil 30 as a package.

Asking $350 shipped and insured for the Anvil 30

Asking $335 shipped and insured for the Innorel tripod with the Midwestoffroad Anvil adapter plate. I would prefer not to part out the midwestoffroad adapter from the tripod unless you can find someone that wants the tripod first... sorry.

Payment via Paypal F&F, zelle, USPS MO or check (will ship when payment clears.)

Firearms Rem 700 short action 6.5prc

Selling a short action, unaware of work done to it, stripped 308 face bolt with firing pin. Have a magnum bolt as well complete. 6.5 prc carbon barrel, has 1000 rds 6.5cm then punched to prc for 500rds, not adding value. I never got it screwed on as a file needs taken to the first thread, all my tools are in totes. Spf shipped, or I'll keep the magnum bolt and do sof for the rest of it.

Hunting & Fishing Briar-Proof Clothing

Since I have gotten into hog hunting more seriously, I find myself in some serious briar thickets sometimes. It was recommended that I try briar-proof clothing. I started with some thin briar-proof chaps. I found them lacking in protection around the hips. Also in warmer weather my legs would be soaked when I pull them off because the material doesn’t breathe well and they slide over my hunting pants. Then they aren’t the greater protection from old, dry briar vines. Some of them stick my right through the chaps.

Next I decided to order some briar proof pants made of heavy duty cordura and a coat made of the same material. I haven’t worn the pants yet for the breathabilty factor. But I’ve used the coat in a number of nights recently. What I’ve noticed about the coat is that it is great protection for briars as tall as me or growing up to chest level. However, moving around in the coat is noisy as hell. Pulling a hand scanner out of my pocket, easing my arm to view through it, removing and replacing my rifle sling from my shoulder, etc all make noise. Just walking with my arm rubbing against the coat makes noise and sometimes turning my head. I’m not sure what the animals hear, but it can make it difficult for me to hear what going on around me a night unless I sit still. I have been able to sneak up in hugs a few times at night; the closest being 8 yards. I’m wondering if this fabric will become quieter with use as I break in the coat. I’m hoping it will become quiet like my filed jacket has become. I don’t wear it hunting because of all of the metal zippers.

Has anyone else encountered noisy hunting gear or clothes? Were you able to break them in with time to where they were quieter when you moved around in them afield?

SOLD Barreled Action - Terminus Zeus with Proof Carbon 6.5 CM

Hey guys,

Selling my Terminus Zeus with Proof Research carbon 6.5 Creedmoor barreled action. Only has about 50 rounds through it.

The Zeus is the "Quick Change" model. If you're not familiar, check out Terminus's website.

The barrel is a carbon fiber Proof Research 6.5 Creedmoor, 1 in 8 twist Terminus pre-fit. I followed Proof's recommended barrel break-in procedure.

I'm only selling because I'm a fool and though I could build out a hybrid gun that could cross between a PRS-style rifle and a lightweight mountain rifle (spoiler alert - not possible), so I'm going to go a different route.

See photos - you can stack rounds on a dime at 100 yards.

The Terminus Zeus sells for $1625; the barrel sells for $1099 - plus all the taxes and shipping.

I'll let it go for $2250.

So we're both comfortable, we will definitely talk on the phone or video chat to hammer out the logistics before any money is transferred or the gun is shipped.

PM me with questions or to swap phone numbers.

Also, not interested in trades. Thanks guys.

New To Loading Sub Sonic

I have a .308 Winchester 16” barrel with a 1:10 twist. Bolt Action Mossburg Scout.
I would like to use the Hornady SubX projectiles in either 175 or 190 grains. Are those viable or should I go heavier in weight? Would like to use Tight Group and Federal Large Rifle caps. Do any of y’all have any thoughts? I can read the printed load data but just not sure on which bullet weight to start with in a 16” barrel. Load data was created with a 24” . Looking to load subsonic.

Firearms Solus 17" comp chassis in sniper gray & .478 short action

Aero precision solus short action .478 face, & 17' comp chassis in sniper gray, both BNIB. Bought when they first came out, never found the time or money to build it out. Neither have seen a tool or anything.

For clarification, this is in fact a .478 bolt face, but for whatever reason was listed as a .473 on Aeros website when I ordered it ages ago.

Action - $700
Chassis - SOLD

Hardest part of having a dog

Milo, my rat terrier has had health problems since we got him. Started with allergies to grass, weeds, and everything outdoors when he was a puppy. We did allergy testing and immunotherapy injections from the time he was a year old. Then he had seizures, thyroid issues, and pancreatitis which led to diabetes a couple months ago. I didn't know that led to cataracts which recently started to show.

Last night he couldn't find his way up the steps and I had carry him inside. This morning he was playing like everything was OK. I came home after work and let him out to figure out he is completely blind. I tried a short walk outside since the weather is nice, but he got scared and wanted to go back inside.

He just turned 7, but I think it's time to put him down. He's scared and confused. It's a matter of time before he has another pancreatitis flare up and is in pain again. I hate the thought of it but the quality of life is pretty much gone.

Precision Rifle Gear Looking for a do it all rangefinder/ballistics

Does it exist?
Something similar to the vortex fury 5000 ab… I had a pair and wasn’t crazy about their app.

I’d like as few pieces of gear if possible. Having the ability to range and get my dope quickly is lore important than magnified optics… so if a kestrel and range finder is best bet, so be it.

Just seeing if there’s any competitors for the fury 5000
